I don't care how since it wouldn't really be possible, but Max cameo pls.

yes!!! going be weird with no time powers, but I'm sure their will be some sort of super natural twist, now... what's the song???

Awesome, in day one.

That being said, is this an actual LiS 2? The Giant Bomb guys seemed to imply that there is a full-fledged sequel in the works too.

Kind of unnecessary story to tell, but if it turns out good, I'll most likely get it

I hope DONTNOD is cooking up something better

There Day 1 besides not really wanting to know every little detail of the first game series. I'd rather keep it a mystery for me.

Rachel is Max anyway why ruin it or explain it away?

DONTNOD is not behind this game. They're supposedly working on their own thing in addition to Vampyr. This thing is most likely LiS2, we assume.

I'm... yeah, I'm on board. If it was a sequel with the same characters I would have rioted, but this is a specific case where I can dig a prequel. I really felt like Chloe was the actual protagonist in season 1 (particularly as the story built toward
Chloe's own decision to sacrifice herself, regardless of whether or not Max chose to accept her decision; Max felt more like a silent protagonist who happened to speak
), so I'll happily spend a bit more time with her.

Like a lot of people, it's definitely one of those things where I keep thinking 'does this really need a prequel?' I'd be lying if I wasn't quite curious where they're going with it, though, and it's hard to go past more LiS.

Life is Strange: Fire Walk With Me

Ha, yep.

My tinfoil hat theory is that this exists because there's elements of the story Dontnod didn't get to tell LiS.

-The deer

-The origin of Max's powers/Native American history of the town

-Rachel and her similarity to Max

Episode 5 seemed rushed and relatively inconclusive to a lot of things that the writers went out of their way to set up earlier in the story (regardless of whether you liked this or not, it doesn't seem intended to me). So maybe this idea was born out of wanting to revisit those ideas without taking away team members for the sequel or messing with the first game.

I'm thinking this somehow ties to Season 2. Other than that, I don't see the point.
Except Square money and fan service ofc
