More on the way!

BRUH

THAT WAS AMAZING

However, it still didn't answer my biggest so far: how do transformations work? Goku started the fight against Frieza as a Super Saiyan. So are we gonna get separate Gokus & Vegetas? Do you just choose the transformation you want when you select Goku? Will Gohan ever grow? I have to know!

SSJ3 was a finisher for the standard SSJ Goku in Extreme Butouden, and they only showed SSJ3 attacking outside of standard gameplay angles.
Yeah and the color seems consistent in all the shots so likely a super and nothing more.

Eh well I figured it would be before we saw the trailer, well if so then fair enough it is what it is :).

Sides I will be switching to Kale whenever the Super DlC hits anyway.

Might be a day one purchase for me... I'm incompetent and get lost with fighters using more than four buttons, so I'm hoping controls and movesets get demonstrated sometime soon. I love Dragon Ball, so naturally I'm a little antsy to see if this game is for me.

Looking at the trailer again I'm not expecting this to be a very serious fighting game lol. Could imagine it being broken af.

Arcsys tends to make the most busted fighters if they are based on an anime IP so I can see that. As for whether the game being "serious"... like any fighting game, that is up to the players.

Yet we had MvC2 and UMvC3 last for several years... that won't be an issue.

Huh? Those were pretty heady fighting games, dude.

There was not nearly enough in that trailer to make an evaluation either way on this, though. ArcSys doesn't make non-competitive games, though.

That wil probably be the first dbz fighter i buy since super famicom time, but damn i wasn't expecting THAT level of 5fps animations!

I swear Frieza's upwards kick is in every game he's appeared lol.

Looking amazing. I think people don't have to worry about characters playing too similar, ArcSys is godlike at making distinct characters gameplay-wise and even if the series has devolved into beam spam at times, the characters all have enough individual elements to draw from the source material. Even DBZ Hyper Dimension was kind of a piece of shit game but managed to make the characters different and have them display moves they had used throughout the series.

I'm referring to the "broken" part. MvC2 and UMvC3 were broken AF and they still lasted for years. UMvC3 is still played to this day, 6 years after release.

That just looked positively amazing.

Golden Freeza confirmed, as well.

Maaaaaaan, Arc is going to finally get the recognition and flowers they deserve. It makes me so happy for them and this game's potential!

I hope it's closer to how UMvC3 was broken in where almost every character had some busted stuff, but the top tiers just had MORE busted stuff. I don't want the game to be just Golden Frieza, SSJB Goku and Vegetas for example.
