Metro and Anthem looked really damn good. Hoping to see more new stuff at Sony tomorrow. Hoping to see Bethesda bring some fire as well.

Easy win for Sony.

I wasn't impressed by the MS showing at all. Not a new single exclusive that hooked me, Forza all over again, the rest was multiplatform (Ori looks awesome tho). And $499 damn, let's be honest everybody, do you all think MS did a good job to sell you this? Which game made you say "holy damn I need this console!" (aside from Anthem, but we don't how it'll look on PS4, + it's for fall 2018 at least).

Yea that's the thing. No new first party AAA game to really sell you on the One X. Like nothing at that conference showed why you need to go out and spend $500 for one.

I dont think Sony wil do it, but if they want to kill Xbox one X hype. Do a pricedrop...

ps4slim $199
ps4pro $299

Again i dont think sony wil do it, but you never know :)

Theoretically,If Sony lowered the price of the Pro by $100, if they did drop the price at best it'd be $50, but theoretically, would that be a big announcement?

GTS being shown pre-show makes me think it's about to be pushed to 2018. Giving an update on a game is usual code by Sony of a delay. I wouldn't really be bothered too much since i'm in the beta and have seen what progress they've made with the game over a relatively short period of time. So, if they need a few more months then go for it.

They won't do that.

Not just because it's impossible, but because Sony doesn't want to be charged with a war crime.

MS doesn't get it. They are two steps behind. They lost the power race and decide to focus on that and now, cool they win that but they have nothing to show for it.

Games sell systems. The power was a plus. Sony gonna flex tomorrow.

You always get the feeling with MS they don't understand games business even after all those years.

You can't win without investing on 1st party. You need to invest big bucks on big AAA exclusive games.

They still refuse to do that so they're still behind.

Wow, saw the summary of the Xbox presser, and what a terrible show.
Some of their supposed exclusives even got "announced" on PS4 (Ashen becomes temp exclu).
All that to finish with $499...

If Sony wanted, they could coast on their 3rd party deals and already announced 1st party exclusives, and they'd steal it easily.

I very much doubt they'll only do that though.

One weird thing, it seemed this conference for MS would be a last push to break beyond their fan base, but they doubled down (cf OG Xbox bc).

I can't see them delaying a game for more than a year
Post TLG

I just think it's Sony out of the loop that racing games are big.

I think hey would have just come out and said it though instead of waiting until the preshow.

Metro Exodus and Anthem both look incredible to me and Anthem single handedly sold me. Sure it'll be available on Ps4 but I don't feel the need to get a Pro when:
-i already have a PS4
-theres a more powerful console out there.

I already own a PS4 so I don't need to be sold on buying one. But they made the Scorpio look like a worthy console. It doesn't bother me that a lot of the exclusives that were shown will also be on PC because sometimes its just nice to plug and play games on your couch.

Sure we don't know what it'll look like or run like on a base PS4 but its going to unquestionably run better on a Scorpio. My only real disappointment is the price.

Sony is going to win fairly easily IMO with what we already know they're going to show....can only imagine the secret stuff they have in store.

Can't wait.

MS seriously disappointed me and dropped the ball, time for the masters to do work tomorrow.

Not a particularly high bar for Sony to top yet. A good gameplay demo for Spider-Man would get them pretty much there for me. Ubi and Bethesda might change that though.

That is my biggest gripe. No major new IP for two years in a row.

+ one of their exclusives (Scalebound) being cancelled.

I know some are like "Good for MS for not showing CG for a game two years out", but fuck sake, that still creates excitement and it's been proven that people will buy a new console for future promises (lol Last Guardian/FFvsXIII 😭)

There was just... nothing... nothing that we didn't already know.

So what's going on in here?

I bet this is you after dropping all that truth in the xbox thread
