I really loved the last two and have been wondering how many new IPs would show this year since we have a good idea on what most of the Sony WWS are working on.
I feel like additional gameplay for their big announced games (God of War, Days Gone, Spider-Man), plus new stuff, will make me excited for the rest of the year and beyond.

Unless Nintendo will really pull a serious megaton like Metroid in their 30 min show, it should be a very easy win for Sony again, even if they won't announce anything new and just show their confirmed line up at E3, they would win by a large margin.

Let's just mention real exclusives that we know of for 2017-early 2018... Lost Legacy, Hellblade, Spider-Man, Dreams, GT Sport, Ni no Kuni II, Days Gone and GoW4.
Then throw in behemoths like Destiny, CoD, RDR2 and Battlefront.
Sony's library is on another level. How much more do you possibly want or do you possibly need for the next 9 months?

You know what else kinda bothers me about Microsofts e3 that's pretty much their one time Sony has psx and tgs and Nintendo can do a direct whenever.
Their exclusive lineup is insane. Been absolutely killing it this gen
Some people here would be satisfied if the show was just an update of E3 2016, and that's cool but that would be personally underwhelming.
3 or so new exclusive announcements would be good for me. Their lineup is stacked for now but that doesn't mean they can rest on showing up with new games

There's a chance for it to popup at any upcoming show unless we find out that Itsuno is working on something else. But he confirmed at the beginning of this year that he was working on a new game and hoped to show it some time this year.

There's two things Sony could surprise me with tomorrow that would make me really happy (a ridiculous line up of exclusives is a given). First off, system wide supersampling for PS4 PRO, just like XOX. Also, PS1 Classics for PS4, uprendered to 1080p with Trophy Support. I don't really understand why we don't already have both of these things, tbh.

I think that is the other thing. If you consider what they showed last year and the fact that they haven't had another show since then, it just makes it all the more underwhelming.

I'm​ hoping to see a reveal of what Sucker Punch is working on. Second Son was great, seems like 2014 was so long ago. Of course I'm looking forward to GoW and TloU2. Hopefully something from left field gets announced like a new Crash or Crash team Racing or some new IP that looks compelling.

MS has helped Sony and Nintendo both look really good this year. Hopefully they don't botch this easy layup assist.
It could at either E3, TGS or PSX. Itsuno has said he is looking to reveal his new title this year. Just a question of if its Devil May Cry.
