Yeah Mahvel is not going anywhere lol. It's nice that we are all enthusiastic about this game but it reeks of insecurity when we need to shit on other unreleased games to prop it up.

I didn't need this game to exist in order to throw shade at Infinite. I've already been doing that since December.

If you're going to have clones DB Super Goku and Vegeta aren't bad ones to have, though.

Especially Goku, as things like SSJB Kaioken and the one-inch punch deserve their own character.

It'll probably depend on how well Xenoverse 2 sells on the Switch.

I don't expect there'll be many technical limitations in porting it, as the Switch has UE4 engine support. If Xenoverse 2's sales are promising I don't see how Bandai Namco wouldn't commision ASW to do a port.

gameplay wise probably, but lets not ignore how good the Naruto games looked

Cc2 did an amazing job with the storm series but I think this tops it. Surely 'cause it benefits from the 2.5 perspective.

That said both look like from the best drawn anime moments... But DBFZ looks like the anime... Just like the first storm bullshot CC2 showed from the first game.

They aren't eating any slots. They'd require a fraction of the effort that it would take to create other characters. They'll be there to fill out the roster.

I wonder if there's a dedicated dust button like in GGXrd or is it just a command grab, also love that supers can actually be used in battle and has a mini cutscene, one of the reasons I didn't like Xrd's instant kills was that it has no uses in real matches

Considering Goku is just in SSJ by default and SSJ3 is a Super animation of his, I think this game is gonna cut down on clone characters a lot. Won't have anywhere near the 3D DBZ or Naruto game levels of rehashing IMO.

I wouldn't even mind if SSJB was just a special alternative costume or something. It's not like their movesets would change much at all.

Only thing that's missing is incoming mixups on character death preventing Zero-May-Cry style 100% snowballs.

Similar to Budokai. You had to sacrifice meter to get out of bad spots. Although in this, it looks like you can do it at will instead of when an opponent​ is beating you.
