Getting the PC version of 7 ported to PS4 was likely just a stunt to help the build for the proper remake of 7's announcement. Once that came out, they likely figured "what's the point? Job's done." regarding 8 and 9. Same thing as with the Super Star Wars games and Battlefront. We're unlikely to ever see Empire and Jedi come out on PS4 either (Unless someone decides to go the extra mile for the BF2 marketing maybe).

MS had an ok show, but showed games I can mostly play on my PS4. Ubisoft had the best conference so far. A lot of those games I will be playing.
