That was another really weird show. I feel like, somehow, Ubisoft got the right mix of trailers, gameplay demos, and human beings on stage selling their vision, company, and games. Sony's show is literally a trailer reel for 2018 games. Most look great but eh.

Who would've expected Ubisoft to have the best conference this year? The rest were underwhelming for me. There weren't any games in particular that looked appealing. To be honest, from a gameplay standpoint, the Mario x Rabbids game might've looked the best. File that under things I never thought I'd say.

I'll play God of War and Spider-man looks gorgeous but the focus on combat and scripted scenes was not what I wanted to see. At least the little bit of swinging they showed seemed good, but that's always a thing you actually have to feel for yourself.
