MVCI did not look nearly as exciting as Dragonball Fighterz did with its trailer. Should've mentioned that the story demo let you play the game and then shown the gameplay trailer that just hit but no...just show those terrible looking models with bad facial animation and terrible shaders the same year they gotta compete with ASW doin DBZ as a fighter lol.

Watching people play this vs what's being tested in the MvC:I demo makes me both happy and hurt. Happy that DBFZ looks like a great MvC successor and sad that it seems capcom went way to far with the changes.

I don't know if this game will even have a story mode but if it does I'm really hoping it's not just another retelling of Z I've played through that too many times at this point

The worst offender is that you get auto combos from light AND medium apparently. Lol. Mashers might as well not play the game at this point.

I really hope you can turn that off.

Visually this might be the best looking game I've ever seen.

Funny thing is this couldn't have been revealed at a better time. I just got caught up with Super after not watching the series in about five or six years.

The animation, the lighting effects, everything about this game looks freaking crazy good.

I wouldn't mind if they did something new with the story mode, actually. Something more creative like Budokai 2's board game thing for example, telling their own story instead of adhering to the anime's events.

As long as they execute it a lot, LOT better than Budokai 2. That board game was some truly awful stuff. Rather have a chain of fights interrupted by cutscenes for the hundreth time than Budokai 2's board game.
