Marvel VS Capcom: Infinite - Gameplay Trailer 3

The game looks so much better in gameplay than it does in cutscene. It actually looks like a nice looking game in this trailer

That's the annoying part. They have such a great foundation for a MvC game yet some things like character models and colour is lacking. Hopefully they improve on it like KOF14 did.

When are they gonna show X!?

Awesome that Zero is back (kind of a lock since he was so good in TvC and MvC3) so I know I'll still get to see Mega Man series rep in high level play. Just please god, let X be decent. He doesn't need to be Vergil or Doom, could he be like X-23 or Frank level? Just enough that he shows and isn't considered a joke. Please? I'll buy your dumb collector's edition with all the garbage, Happy Meal tier light up plastic rocks in a box if you do. And I'll do it for the upgraded version of the game that'll be announced in December too.

We better be able to change voices too. I love Zero and Sigma's Japanese voices so damn much.

Zero looking awesome as usual, Rockman and Zero in a fighting game <3
That's 3 types of stones so far? Power, Time and Reality?

Watching this trailer just made me wish Capcom would make a 100% Marvel game. When the Capcom characters were on the screen I found myself looking at TV.

To entice you to buy the season pass.

This might be closer as to why. You would think they'd prioritize Black Panther because of the character's upcoming film. Marvel and Capcom didn't know how well received the BP film's trailer would be when they made the decision to make Panther DLC in this game.

Game looks pretty great in motion, in spite of the artstyle.

I'm guessing the story cutscenes were added halfway through development as a response to SFV's reception, and the models weren't really made for it, but it was too late to totally change them.

Still hoping they give Chun a new face though. How did they completely nail her in V, but totally fuck her up in this?

So far the characters people really want are DLC. Capcom knows what they're doing.

Yeah I mentioned the very same thing in the other thread, her face looks horrible in this.
Game seems to play butter smooth though, curious as to what the final roster will be.

I honestly hope there are no unlockables requiring you to play the story mode. After the demo, I can't stomach it. Maybe I'll get over it later, but right now, I'm good on that.

Theres a gallery of sorts that has things to unlock, none of which affect gameplay. Safe bet that clearing Story Mode will unlock something there.

Isn't that what matters lol?
But ya the game looks great in motion

It is, but Capcom could do better. ASW is putting out all around gorgeous fighting games right now. Capcom needs to spend them extra ducats to polish these games up, because they're so close to greatness.

I feel exactly the opposite. DBZ is leagues beyond this in animation, IMO.

But, to each their own :p
How? The animation is so choppy in DBZ? It's by design, but still, it's choppy and pops from one instance to the next. It's lacking in transitional animations especially.

Visually, DBZ is amazing, but it's animation is, by design, lacking

I just noticed Gamora wasn't in this trailer. Guess we gotta wait till the next trailer where they dump the remaining 6 unconfirmed characters from the leak just to see her in action.

Wow, this looks so much better in game. The cut scenes during the Sony press conference looked fucking terrible, but the characters look pretty nice during the actual fighting. The lighting on the desert stage in particular makes the characters look much better.

Good to see that it's coming along nicely.

Capcom is broke.

It's definitely a weird aesthetic choice made by both Capcom and Marvel.

DBZ does look great with those vivid colours however I've noticed the number of frames and animations is lacking but MvCi seems the opposite - it has dull colours yet great animations.

Gameplay looks better than the last couple trailers. Also I'm pretty happy Zero was the last Capcom character over Frank.
