I have to admit I'm skeptical of what I've seen of the Odyssey gameplay but that hat possession mechanic sure grabbed everyone's attention. That game is the most talked about thing I'm seeing on Twitter. Not like BOTW last year but it sure seems popular

Nah, I can see what he's saying but I feel like it's because they wanted to show off random small side-stuff for whatever reason. I'm really excited for it now but that gameplay demo was kinda whatever.
 
That not-ska theme for Odyssey is great.

Nintendo's fresh approach to Mario and Zelda music has really paid off.

The possession thing is really striking, but it's the moment they sprout a moustache and make it clear you can control them that really captured everyone IMO. It certainly got me.

It's such a curveball that you just naturally want to talk about it and know more.

as someone who smoked for 20 years and quit smoking without vaping i say fuck that, vaping is not a good alternative to smoking, the studies are starting to come in and prove its not a whole lot healthier than smoking.

Plus alot (not all) of vapers are d bags about it.

Millions of people have used vaping as a successful means of nicotine cessation. You're not supposed to keep vaping.

That's fine, I used Nicotine lozenges for this reason, Its the people that keep vaping and get 'rigs' I have an issue with, its like people who drink 2L of coke 0 everyday and think its healthy 'cause it has 0 calories

I've never met a single person who quit via vaping, everybody I've known thinks it's great that they can smoke safely now.

This was a little before my time with GB (though I've heard that segment as part of the This Year podcasts- it seemed totally fine?), but wasn't that grudge because they kinda didn't really do anything to rein in the fans being terrible to her? I'd hold a grudge too if so.
 
That Dan reaction to the Mario Odyssey trailer is legit video-worthy. He can't contain himself, I love it.

Also I watched the GB show up til just before the last segment. Worth watching?

And the "why can't I smoke inside man its just vapor man its water it should be cool why are you such a fuckin lame" type of folk

your defense of smokers trying to quit is not needed because that's not their "target"
