I didn't forget Zamasu. I made my list narrowed down to the best characters from each era. There's no chance we're getting Zamasu or Goku Black if Beerus doesn't make the cut.
Realistically GT characters aren't happening either.
Out of Dragonball characters I should've listed Mercenary Tao or Tien if I was going to mention more than 1.
If I'm forced to go pick someone else from the Z series there are slim pickings.

Unless I've just not been noticing it, I just realized that hardly anyone has been putting Whis in their lists. Honestly just because of his role in the show so far I've left him out by default without much thought.

SS4 Gogeta is right behind SS2 Gohan for series' most badass character. I really hope they don't completely write GT out

Apparently, Namco wasn't prepared for this & they thought that it would be Ni no Kuni that would be receiving rewards like this. FighterZ probably needed a bigger area lol.

When one of the first moving shots they showed at Microsoft was the game coming to that Goku/Frieza screen they released in their first PR, and made people realize that it ACTUALLY looked like that, floors were destroyed by jaws. No one saw it coming, and every skeptic was destroyed instantly.

Just imagine Ultimate Gohan's intro in this game.
In one of the IGN interviews they said there will be robust single-player mode but they can't talk about it right now.
Ok cool, that's all I need to know.
I'm not good at competitive fighting games, but a big DB fan, so I really want a story mode I can play through by myself at my own pace.

I would probably go with slim to none.as badass as he is, ssj4 goku and ssj4 vegeta has precedence over him.I can see Baby or Omega being added instead of ssj4 Gogeta.
I do have one character request though. I would love to see USSJ Trunks in the game.

I hope we get at least one GT character during the lifetime of this game. It may not be canon anymore and I'm not its biggest fan, but it's still a significant part of the franchise's history you know?

Have to admit though, the artstyle/animation + SSJ4 in GT pretty much makes it superior to Super, at least for me. Super just looks awful most of the time, and the SSB powerup is super underwhelming
