you know what... yea i guess i see it. I just enjoyed it for what it was i guess, a mindless action anime. Its a lot more obvious in the manga than it is compared to the anime from looking at those images.

I don't like The Weeknd, but I got to admit, that's some fly ass shit. Wish Dandara showed up at E3 because I loved the design of that character, it's just too bad it's 8-bit instead of 16-bit or higher where you could see more detail in her hair and outfit.

I'll commend Shy, Gordon and others. From my perspective, some of us have listened and absorbed the idea of toxic masculinity or whatever you want to call it and agree. If i remember correctly, Roy used to throw shade at the toxic heterosexuality of this place from time to time. We may be trying to be good 'allies' by defending the people who have spoken up but this place is better with tolerance. And learning. And absorbing. And a redefinition of normal.
I've been here through a few iterations and it's a lot different and better, nowadays, in some ways. So if we push the thirst to the side, I'm okay.
Let's say some truth: Black women have been shitted on the most, except for maybe native americans, in this country. Let's continue to make a place for them.

There's nothing wrong with a sprite game. If a black studio with a sprite game blows up then they could get more money to make a 3D game that doesn't look ass. I've looked around a lot and all the ones look pretty terrible including the one I worked with for a short period.
Actually, now that you brought that up, I looked up the studio behind Dandara and it's actually two white guys. I just assumed it was a black studio because of the character. Having black publishers is also important as well because studios in the past have been rejected for having a woman or a minority protagonist. A black studio with good recognition will not only lead to more black characters and black culture in games, but will also show that game development is a viable option for black people.
