They just need to steal her and make her permanent!! I've always enjoyed when she was a guest and it would be nice to have a female on Kinda Funny as well.

I know she's got her other podcast she just started What's Good Games.
 
The only problem with this cast is there isn't any one JRPG enthusiast, seems like still a mainstream esque gaming show. Love or hate the guy, I loved that games like Danganronpa, Ni No Kuni and Persona(Though Greg does give the game some fluff) were discussed and talked highly of by Moriarty. Colin was the lone guy who'd give these obscure Japanese games any kind of light, they haven't replaced him in that regard as Andrea usually never talks about them and I am not sure O'Dwyer does the same too(Correct me if I am wrong?).
 
I saw this on their channel and wow... it's pretty good, it's focused, it's quick and it is self contained (no more partitioned sections which I didn't like that much), and also andrea is such a good guest to have.

I'll hopefully continue checking them

Thanks for giving us a shot, everyone! I saw someone ask about Danny; he'll be joining us in July. He's out of the country for a few weeks.

There will be a schedule. Until Danny gets back, it's Andrea MWF, Tim Tuesday and Thursday. Then, it's a week of Danny. Then, I believe, it's Tim Monday, Andrea Tuesday and Thursday, and Danny Wednesday and Friday.

All that is subject to change and travel.

Andrea is such a huge get. That lady is EVERYWHERE. Might as well be the hardest-working media person in the business. I'll watch anything with her on.

Trying on too many hats and fit in to too many places: esports, news, podcasts. What I liked about KF is that they stuck to what they knew. It didn't make sense for Greg & Colin to play League and Dota - and thank god they didn't.

I think they won't. Especially with a soft length of 45 mins.

I will say I can maybe already see the days with Tim being a little less interesting for me on Games Daily. Not because I don't like Tim (he's awesome), but more I start viewing it as a Gamescast more than a "new" show.

I did appreciate Greg continuing to keep Tim on topic though.

I am very much looking forward to this each day: especially with Andrea!

With Andrea and Danny on a show with Greg, this will actually make me want to watch anything that Kinda Funny does and I used to watch most of everything they did pre-Colin leaving. The whole Colin leaving thing really soured anything that they do, so much so that I stopped watching all their shows and dropped Patreon support. I liked Colin but, I liked the group dynamic between (most of) KF that made their shows interesting. These gaming sites are about the personalities and how they play off each others strengths and have diverse opinions and if they only people that they have are people who love everything and don't offer any actual insight or knowledge its just marketing. I've switched whole-heartedly to Giant Bomb and have loved every minute.

KF games cast always seemed very weak and mostly just a retread of the morning show and PSILYXOXO and that on PSILYXOXO you could get some actual insight and honest opinions rather than just blathering on and on about best game lists and inane predictions.
That's why I'll watch the episodes with Andrea and Danny or any other special guest, and never watch any with Tim or Andy.
Also Tim and Kevin to be behind the camera and silent.

I was having trouble articulating why KF's gaming content became a lot less appealing to me after Colin's departure, but I think this hits the nail on the head. Haven't gotten a chance to try out KFGD yet and having Danny back will probably help a lot, but this is one gap I hope they're able to fill eventually. Even if Andrea/Danny can't speak to these kinds of games, I'd love to see them add other regulars down the line who can.
 
Loving this show. I tried getting into the Kinda Funny Morning show for a while but, for whatever reason, it never stuck. This format's working wonders for me.
 
Not a fan of this sadly. I don't much enjoy Andrea's style and I feel Tim's will be no better. Is there no way at all Colin can come back?
 
I must say, I thought the first two shows were really well put together. Greg is clearly putting a lot of work into this. Five shows a week might be overkill but so far it's been the best thing KF has done in a while.
