Suits is now an Original in the UK and Netflix are uploading episodes 24 hours after the US release. Pretty sweet considering I was only expecting series 6.

That sounds like something they'd show on that network from The Running Man.
 
I was curious so I checked out a little bit of it, they drop the people in the middle of a Friday the 13th looking site lol. Those dogs are fast as shit.
 
Finished IZombie Seasons 1-3 in two weeks lol
Glad it renewed for a 4th but hope it doesn't drag too much...I hate shows that go for too long.

Need more shows like that.

at least izombie is more like a half season (except s2). shows that have 20+ episodes and are a hour long...ugh...its almost impossible for them not to drag on.

Gotta have a hell of a story to fill up that much time. Sadly, it's typically not demanded by the creative team, but by the networks to sell ad space. Lost could have been an amazing three/four season series. Instead we have 143 hours of TV that's impossible to recommend to new watchers.
 
I just finished watching Five Came Back, which is a good documentary series if you like movies, WWII, or both. Looking through Netflix's Classics catalog, I noticed several films that were mentioned in Five Came Back are available:

Friends From College not working for me. Not very funny nor moving. Great cast but they're not given much to work with. Music sounds like royalty-free youtube background music. Will likely not make it past the first episode unless I hear it becomes really great.

How did Friends from College even got greenlit? This is absolutely terrible. You don't connect them as life time friends at any point, it's not funny at all, the guy that plays the dumb awkward character is supposed to be a best seller author? What the hell is even this series?

Such a waste of some good actors in it.
 
I was interested in Friends from College when I read the cast, but the reviews didn't hold back. Too many other shows I could be watching instead of wasting time on it, so I didn't even bother.

Channel 5 are still saying they are going to air it but not until at least the Autumn but it is out on DVD next month and if the contract with Netflix says they have to wait until the DVD release it is possible they could get it before C5 but who knows.
 
Chasing Coral is pretty cool. Although I feel like they knew that the coral footage would only last 10 minutes so they spent all this time talking about camera set ups and whatnot. lol

I saw it a few hours ago and thought it was pretty good. The pacing was kinda weird and I felt the ending came abruptly but I suppose that lends to a more grounded story. Anyways I thought it was worth watching with great performances all around.

This was a pretty good series. I hope the original films hold up.
 
Just finished the keepers. Was not expecting to be hooked by it but the way they presented the story bit by bit was engaging especially when I knew nothing going in
 
Finally completed Iron Fist. There is a good show here that is weighed down heavily by the family drama. I felt like by the end of it all the Meechums didn't even really need to be there. They missed an opportunity to delve even deeper into The Hand. We got that some, but not much.
