If we get 8 or so characters next year 6 need to be new and at least 4 should be female.
Should've replaced Firebrand and Spencer with Nina and Ada Wong or Regina with Jill mvc2 moveset
One of the reasons they were brought back was that it was easy to transfer their MVC3 moveset over so if you wanted female characters you should have mention Ammy or C. Viper, unless you mean that Nina and Ada should have replaced them in 3.

Doctarine linked it the previous page, I dont think anyone noticed (I know I didnt before), they are probably the best matches we've had so far. Its LIJoe playing Capcom employees or other players (weird angle alert).

It wasn't on the list of Xbox titles and nothing about pro so far.
I thought it was one of the games at Microsoft's first Xbox One X presser at E3. Guess maybe I mixed it up with DBFZ having Xbox One X support.

Yes, they're gone.
It's a shame, but their implementation in Ultimate wasn't great, so it's no big loss, I guess.

Yeah, I agree. I like the concept of mashing for more damage, but it was much better in the older games. At least the animation lasted longer (ie beam attacks) or had different animations (Nash's Sonic Break) altogether when doing it.
There's obviously no building to push the opponent off of so he swings away instead. The reference is clear.

The reference isn't clear. It's part of an ending to a commercial flop. That isn't even referenced in the same context. So it's just weird and awkward and not even really a big part of the character.

Most of the female characters I want have no shot at being included so whatever. Dagger, Songbird (just from sheer amount of requests from the older polls), Quake, and Wasp have the most chance and even then its pretty weak.
Well, there's a glitch where you can with Ultron's cinematic level 3 and it screws up the animations of it. Not sure if you can with others or that I fully understand how it works.

Wondering if, with Thor/Spidey team, after you trap someone in the box during the Space stone storm whether or not you can go for something like

Capcom doesn't make arcade versions of their arcade fighters anymore. But what if they released a "coin op" version of MvC:I that was essentially licensed for use in an arcade? It probably wouldn't take much work and could just be a special software release. Arcade operators can make their own cabinet and use their own hardware to run it in.
I only say this because large arcades like Galloping Ghost have made their own cabinet for console fighters like MK:X (IIRC)

Man most of these SHOULD come back eventually but like... not all at once.
Do you guys think that we'll end up getting more than 6 for all of 2018? After all, we're getting 6 just in the last three months of 2017. Will there be more than 6 in 2018 do you think, or will DLC releases just slow down majorly?
I mean, that's the hope, and it would seem logical, but many things that seemed logical just... didn't happen with this, so who knows.

My tempered hope is 8 per year. It'd definitely be a slowdown compared to the three month rush of this year, but a two-character pack dropped every season would be a nice way to keep the game rolling for a good while, hopefully without breaking the bank. With how many veterans they can still port from UMvC3, it shouldn't break any developer backs either I'd hope.
