PSN seems to be pretty wonky with cards and billing address type stuff, I've been seeing complaints about this kind of stuff for years here and elsewhere.

At this point I just buy PSN codes off Amazon or whatever and add funds that way. I'm not really terribly worried about my PSN account or anything at this point with 2-step verification but it at least avoid billing hassles.

Compared to launch Destiny a coherent narrative of any kind would be a worthy achievement. If there's a three-act structure I'll stand up and applaud at the climax.

From the beta/prerelease we know that the villain is an actual character with a clear motivation so that's an upgrade off the bat

Got into Destiny 1 late. I mean $20 at Best Buy, post expansions late. Didn't put much time into it, especially after hearing about how the expansions added so much and I was stuck with the vanilla.

I would love to experience this day one and watch it take off. I'm not invested in any game like this at the moment, I think it'll be fun. Debating hitting that pre-load button. Enjoying the hype here, hello DGAF :)
 
Assuming that with both in Bellevue, Bungie coordinated with Valve to put off the new Dota heroes and the PTR noise we're hearing right now doesn't mean the next major patch is also dropping this week? Right, guys? Right?!?!

It would be just like Valve to not give us our next fix all those post TI weeks until this drops. Demanding full commitment to abandon the FPS forever from their fanbase. :(

If that is the case, you lose this time, Valve.
 
Yesss. This rocks. It seems that the miasma surrounding this franchise makes every Destiny thread a series of divided voices. Stoked to be in the mix with people who dig the series and are fired up for more. Feeling the love for sure.
 
I did not play Destiny 1 and I've been having a hard time picking between Titan and Hunter.

I like the Titan's Captain America mode and I also like the idea of protecting my party with shield.

But Hunters have a sweet hand canon and ninja rolls.

Can I get some advice from people who played Destiny 1?
 
Asked before but I think it got lost on the last page. All the character import stuff was done automatically on Bungie's servers last month, right? I'm clearing out space on my PS4 and wanted to make sure it was safe to clear out D1.

Was waiting for pc but hype got me. I'll trade the Xbox ones or sell them in October for PC versions of this. Too bad my Gamestop got an email and now they don't know when we can come get it tomorrow. It was 9 pm then it might be 10 pm. Fuckin Colorado gamestops get your shit together.

Titan is the best. Don't pick the jobbers of Destiny.

Hit that pre-load button it will be worth it.

Destiny even with all of its faults is still one of the best / most fun games of the generation. I don't expect D2 to be perfect but I'm sure it will be a damn good time

Not sure how they'll play out in D2, but titan was a safe bet for beginners in part one. They had the most armor, solid mobility, and a freaking bubble. Also boosted teammates nicely.

I prefer the hunter from an aesthetic and movement preference, but I've heard mixed things about them during the beta. I don't care, sticking to my favorite class.

Eventually, you'll likely level all three to cap if you stick with the game. Most of us did.

I don't remember anything like that happening at Totems. We got it first try you know. everything was fine it was fine totally under control.

Thanks, I like the idea of boosting my teammates so I will probably with the Titan.
