Most MMOs don't launch with a raid because they want everybody to have a chance to get geared. It's standard practise to wait a week or two before patching raid content in.

A Prison of Elders style arena though? That, if at all, would probably be in an expansion. The game has potential for a cool horde mode, hopefully it lives up to that potential.

Nah, this time it just worked, once my ISP was in order.
240 Light is what the game lists. But the Challenges are quite tricky from what I gather, you may wanna save that for later in the week when youre better geared.

We (best friend and I) can't really make up wether to get this or not.
We're generally not huge fans of shooters but we we like Overwatch and Borderlands (a reason might be that aiming skills are not that important)
And we dislike Battlefield, Call of Duty, etc.

You should be fine then. D2 lacks the tempo of COD and Battlefield. I've played lots of Titanfall 2 and the difference in speed is amazing. Destiny is sloooow BUT fun!

Really enjoyed what I played last night.
But is it just me, or does it seem like there's less...secrets and stuff than Taken King onwards Destiny?
Like remember all the things you collected around the Dreadnought that eventually became that badass fusion rifle, the keys that unlocked chests about in the world that had platforming puzzles attached to them.
That kind of stuff?

Finished the game and have not come across ANY collectables or secrets.

Congrats mate, my little one is now 7 weeks old. It's the best moment in your life for sure but get your Destiny game time in when she's asleep you gotta be quick and work to baby's timetable
People complained about it. "I don't want to collect things for x". Bungie seems to listen to the most stupid complaints.
And Sony, come on now. I have no problems understanding that there might be issues for an hour or so. Shit happens. But we're at 8(?) hours now. It's getting embarrasing.

I can understand them taking out pointless collectables like Ghosts (although me and plenty of others did enjoy grabbing them)
but the more obscure ones introduced in Taken king went down a storm.
I wonder wether their pipeline is better now and they can introduce more things like the secret areas in the weekly strike. Stuff like that.

Wasn't even just the collectibles. But like when you'd have a sat key drop. Then go to somewhere else in the map and that made certain enemies spawn. Kill those and get something and it gave you access to a new event. Do the whole 'hidden quest' chain and you got loot. Was cool as fuck discovering that stuff.

The raid is included on the disc it's just disabled for a week to let people gear up.

On the 15th the premiere pvp end game activity (trials) opens up
There are a few other d1 end game pieces we haven't heard about yet, iron banner sparrow racing etc

Yeah. Might be things we havent seen yet though. There's a spot at nessus I can't figure out, and cant find anything solid about it online either.
Finally in!
They are there. I've found one in the social space. An 'investigate' button prompt will come up when you're near and the it gives you a tiny bit of exposition. Don't know if these are recorded anywhere.

They just seem to be the replacement for grimoire. Them talking about you getting the lore in game.
Honestly, another thing they bungled.
People liked grimoire, just not having to read it on a separate app. Just have a grimoire tab in game, ya dummies.

i'm at 213 having a terrible time leveling up. you really suggest just looping that tiny first area of EDZ? how do you reset lost sectors?

Any update on HDR patch for Ps4?
There is a collections tab in the vault which lists them, but I've not tried nuking an exotic and going there to get it back yet.
Edit - infusion is still a thing so I've been hanging on to mine.

Just saw ACGs review. Sad to hear that the campaign is very easy. A shame really because I always dig a challenge.

Inspecting things for lore has been in destiny since ttk.

I really need to stop looking outside the OT for destiny dear lord. Everyone is looking for literally everything to make a new thread and just completely shit on the game. God damn the salt outside about us folks enjoying a hell of a game is fucking appalling.
Last night I wasted hours on EDZ and Titan just going around doing chests, lost sectors and adventures and it's been amazing. Some lost sectors are absolutely huge and we found a cave that was pitch black but lit up with stars and jellylike looking things. Took a screenshot on the Xbox and it was so pretty. Hope I see more areas like that.
Only disappointing thing is getting tokens and turning them in only to realize everything is level 20 lol, I have to stare at the quest icon for the NPC now because they are going to hold an engram for me for 10 levels
