They don't have the game, they were at one of the prerelease events with the game. Like Max and UM Tyrant.

Might be time to put aside my differences tho cause I just logged on to try that new waifu (menat) and she's fun. And now that I have a fighting game stick I am finding the game much easier to play. Used to try to play with dpad and found it awful experience

I mean, if the comparisons to Future Fight are more in the fact that Future Fight was also released after the Fox ban went into effect, yet they're getting X-Men related characters. It's dumb, but I just want Cable back ;_;
But yes, Future Fight's more Ultimate Alliance than MvC. Contest of Champions is more fighting game-ish.
Also, I ain't saying "step-up MvCI" in reference to FF, they just release characters that I think would be neat in MvC.
I say "step-up MvCI" in reference to MvC3, tho. 
Anyone that seriously expects the amount of work a more focused fighter to be the same as their more unfocused, "casual" games to be the same are deluding themselves.

I want XMvSF-style stage transitions again.
I have been relieved that this game's pre-release cycle hasn't been as hype as MvC3/UMvC3, because I was so hype for so many months on those games it literally effected my lifestyle.
But now....now it's getting just as bad. Thank god it's only really kicked in about a month before release rather than like half a year, but now that it's here, it's here. I need this game.

Yeah. I couldn't concentrate on anything else when MVC3/UMVC3 was coming out. Nothing else interested me. These Max Marvel Legacy streams got me in my feels. I don't think anything will match my pre-release MVC3/UMVC3 hype. It was too good. Glad I got to experience that hype train.
I'm glad MVCI is close, though. Lots of stuff I want to play with.

I kind of agree with you...but for me I don't care...it's better than the other superhero fighting that I hall not name, where I love everything about the game except the gameplay itself. Infinite balances that outIt really annoys me that the gameplay looks so fun but everything else is so bad, especially the presentation...

I never understood this "Marvel 3 was chaotic with 6 characters on screen" thing considering there was never a time when there were 6 characters on screen. It's usually 4 max.
