It didn't work for me.Did you leave your ps4 on or off during the restart?
Turned PS4 off, pulled power out of router. Plugged back in, let it kick back in to life, then turned on PS4.
Is Xur coming back even?
He is coming back.
He is coming back, appears weekly on a different map. As for currency I think we going to give him legendary shards this time from what I read somewhere.

Played my first game of Crucible across both games. I never had my team be so soundly beaten in a multiplayer game before. Damn it was a massacre.

My suggestion: play another match.
Ah, thanks, makes sense as I just checked the vault and it costs Legendary Shards to reclaim an exotic from the collection.

What time did PSN end up working again?
Have had a great time so far, hit level 20 and started some gear levelling, got a few quests going for weapons and exploring areas now.
The shader thing is an issue but at the same time I have got a tonne in one day of play so am not sure how big an issue it really is?
Main issue for me has been crucible or lack thereof, always searching!

I did. We won a match of control. It wasn't the losing badly that was my problem. Though I see how it could come across like that. I'm just more of a PVE guy.
These PS4 Pro crashing issues are incredibly frustrating. It's making the game almost unplayable for me with how often it is happening. I've had to restart so many missions and adventures when I was in the middle or near the end of them. At this point I'm afraid my PS4 Pro is going to blow up with how many times it's been on/off due to freezing.
Something tells me I lucked out grabbing this game on my X1 for the temp month to PC release instead of my Pro. But are you playing 1080p or 4k on the Pro?

lol, I know, I know.......but I had like 50 Tokens for EDZ already just from rolling around. Seems like they are really generous on letting you try to get better loot.....kind of cool we have a loot table.....so now instead of factions we get this. I like the new system for sure

Hunters: What are the cloak options like compared to D1 so far? The most important part of the class and I'm looking to start on my hunter over the weekend.
Not gonna lie, if there's not something like c.fragments or dead ghosts I'm going to be a bit bummed. They put them in some really creative spots and, for me at least, it gave me a drive to really explore every nook and cranny of areas.

Are you thinking like calcified fragments or something...haven't found anything like that. Just little lore interactables, which aren't much to write home about tbh.
I'm playing on 4K. Not sure if resolution matters or not though as I tried 1080p along with turning boost mode off, etc. and it still happens. Its really annoying because there is probably no way I can do the raid with how unreliable I would be due to crashing randomly.
Pro and 1080p here, game froze within the minute I started playing

Unfortunately, get ready for your crashing future. It happens way more than it should. The 2FPS on the loading screen is more rare in my experience. The crashing is very inconsistent. Sometimes you'll be able to play for 2 hours and nothing happens, then it will crash every 5 minutes as you're trying to do something. In my experience, it seems like crashing happens more on the first planet than some of the other areas.
So, are there no more 'Patrol missions' anymore? Do the adventure missions replace them (having completed all of them on Titan, i can now replay them)
Having timers on the public events is a curse, really ... i haven't visited the 3rd "planet" yet, because i keep doing the ... "okay, that public event starts in 2 minutes, i'll just do that one." followed by "Oh, hey, another one starting in 4 minutes!"
Also, is there any reason NOT to make the walker event 'heroic'?
You bump it to heroic by opening all 3 shields - which makes the 2nd walker that gets dropped even more trivial, as you'll constantly have access to one of the three respawning rocket launchers.

There is a mission on Earth where you set down the beacons that turn on the D1 style patrols.
There are patrol missions later in the game after a certain event happens in the main story missions.
The reddit thread about that issue mentioned, that this might be a hardware issue with some PS4 Pros. People who had this issue back in the Beta and with Tomb Raider got their PS4 Pro repaired by Sony and the issue was gone. The fact that it's not an issue for 100% of all Pro 1080p users leads me to believe that it's not a software issue on Bungie's side. I have a Pro and a 1080p TV and have no issues.
Oh that's disappointing. I've had mine on for a good 18 hours solid yesterday and no issues though so hopefully it's not too widespread.
Edit - unrelated but I see the crucible still sucks ass. I'm dreading an exotic weapon requiring lots of crucible play to unlock.
yay! the patrols were my drug.
right now, it's very hit or miss for me.
I don't like the mode where you have to pick up the markers that players drop on death to score points / prevent the enemy from scoring. My teammates usually get super greedy.
I don't know whether o not i like the fact that it's a consolidated "quick play" playlist and not a playlist for each individual game type.

I almost exclusively leveled my 2nd and 3rd character by just doing the PVE dailies and a few patrols each day.

Maybe it's my early weapons, but does the weapons in D2 have less punch to them, audibly?
I feel the weapons in D1 sounded 'heavier' compared to D2. I really hope they didn't change the fidelity of the guns in D2. Destiny 1 was perfect.

other way around to me, D2 sounds way more bassy and punchy than D1. I feel like I could take out an entire planet with one blast of a shotgun.

I played Destiny 1 when it came out and it was okay, sent the game back after a couple weeks when the story was done.
I've got Destiny 2 and wanted to ask, what kind of content is available once the SP is finished? I don't care about PvP, but rather are there new co-op areas that open up once the SP is finished, new enemies inhabit the areas etc? If not that's all good, will play the story and then send it back, not going to play the same area again and again for a cooler gun that kills the same enemy a bit quicker.

In the base PS4 there is a lot of aliasing, even in the ingame UI... Is it the same for PS4 Pro?
Yes, i got my code last night about 8pm, after trying all day. Also got the same code as an email abouy the same time.
Input the code on bungie.net and it stated it worked, but not 20 yet so xant tell.
Also the account info u your area code followed by your account number, no spaces otherwise it wont work.
Jaggy free mostly.
I'm playing PS4 Pro at 4K, it's almost entirely jaggy press.

Just curious, did you just put in the account number or append it with the site code? Account number came up as invalid but just been reading stuff about adding a site code to it.
