Destiny 2 |OT| Here We Go Again

Anyone know where I can find 3 Cabal supply caches? I'm not sure what the game is referring to for this challenge.

Edit: looks like it's just chests near Cabal held areas

Progress so far

Man, jealous of some of you guys who have already had time to level up massively and stockpile all these cool weapons...

That's what happens when bungie gives you one week to get ready for the raid.

I hate it but blind raids are something special so you just gotta get it done.
Yep dumbest thing ever it should be a month

It's one of the reason I hate when ppl call this an mmo I wish level 20 took 50 hours...
This is comin from a one character player though but still I wish progression was 3 times longer across the board.

Why would you hang out in the official thread if you care about spoilers O.o
I just skim the posts really, but have for the most part stayed out of here. I'm not too concerned about spoilers though, the game is for the most part an MMO so the end game is where the content is and the early character development is just one of the many rides to enjoy.
Just buy it for console and get it over with. That horrible feeling of stress and anxiety will completely vanish. :D
Nah I just can't. Call me PC elitist but our beta was just something else, could not at all replicate the awesome gameplay on the console version. It was beyond gorgeous zooming around as a Titan and the game just clicking together so perfectly. I want more of this and that's only gonna be on PC ;)

any good sales out for this? I know it just came out but it hasn't been uncommon to see stuff this early. I wouldn't normally mind spending full price but I dont have much time to play these days so it's hard for me to justify

What is everyones general impressions so far? Been to busy in the game and not looked at the thread haha

I think it's great. Destiny without the headaches of D1. Everything is polished and fine tuned, and you get rewarded for doing just about any activity. I've been too busy having a blast playing to post in the OT much haha.

That GIF is identical to what I see on my PS4, get over yourself lol

My wife has informed me that it has been delivered.

This is not going to make the next hour and a half of work go any faster, but hey. It's arrived. WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO

I just finished the story and daaaaaamn what a ride. Loved the massive focus we got on characters. Especially Ikora Pearson.
Big golden cloud Ghaul looked a bit silly though

I'd give the game a 9/10. Mostly because of how Crucible is split between quick and competitive. Give me my match type options back 😤

Was that a fleet of Vex ships at the very end? Think it will be in the expansions or D3?

So am I only one who has experienced dropped frames on Xbox one during certain adventures or missions. It's definitely lowered a smidge when it got really, Really heavy and it's noticeable in the control response time

I gotta say, I don't know if the Pro version has any benefits, but the IQ and visuals of this game look great.

And my white Pro is seriously purty

So anyone tried out a sword yet? I really want to do a sword build on either a Titan or a Warlock, but I'm wondering how often you can actually use swords if they use heavy ammo (I quit D1 before TTK). I'd love the sword to be the bulk of my attacks, but I get the feeling that isn't really possible?

Crucible is still hot doo doo. Why Bungie didn't opt for 60 FPS, dedicated servers for that portion of the game still doesn't make a lick of sense to me.

Swords are sweet, but still use heavy as before. So you can't main it as you would like to

So I'm now at 210 power. What's the best way to grind up to 260? I've been saving purple rewards for then.

You need to collect tokens to trade in and do strikes and crucible. Just use those blues to sail to 260 then start to transfer everything over to the purples you have been saving.

Man the titan looks so lame compared to the other two starting classes :p

How do I start a new character without having to play the intro again?

Yeah that's really annoying to me. But it probably makes alot of ppl feel better

Yeah, it's a trend in shooters these days that I don't like at all. Overwatch comes to mind. I'm sure the devs do it this way so that scrubs feel better about themselves. I mean, when assists count as kills, literally everyone can go positive. It's bullshit and frankly turning me off way more than it should.

The exotic fusion rifle, Merciless, melts single target bosses. So good.

I saw a twitch streamer get that. I so want one, it's legit overkill.

I love it, prevents so much epeen waving, and encourages teamwork rather then solo glory seeking.

It's the best thing to happen to recent team oriented MP games. People play the objective and fight as a team more because that helps their result more than simply lone wolfing it.

Engrams? Legendary item levels are mandated by the level you are when they are attained though aren't they?

Only the cryptarch ones. The faction/location reward packages scale up until you accept them.

So you shouldn't be cashing in any zone tokens or gunsmith rep. Save it for 260.

Should I hold on the faction turn in stuff till level 20 or does it matter?

EDZ tokens etc.

You can turn the tokens in whenever, but you can't actually get any engrams from the faction vendors until you hit level 20. So really it's up to you when you want to turn in the tokens but just know you have to wait until 20 to get anything from it.

Have spent more time in this thread reading than actually playing the game.. I have the day off tomorrow and am really hoping to put 3-4 hours in at least.

Note: This is kinda unfun. I'm 214 and running around with sick-ass legendaries.

To each their own, but legendaries are fun so don't feel like you HAVE to save it until 260 or the game will be ruined.
