As early as level nine I've heard. You can get it by opening any random chest or looting public events.

Any guesses for how many legendary shards weapons will cost from xur tomorrow?

I've got 26 shards but I'm thinking 32 for weapons.

Also, is there any heavy ammo synthesis or have they scrapped that?

Got two exotics about an hour apart goofing off in events with friends. Got Wardcliff Coil and another Sunshot. Then got an exotic sparrow from a Bright Engram I got. Welp.

I'm wondering more about what the level he will sell them at will be. But 32 sounds a bit high. Is that what it cost in Destiny 1?

Looks like no Xur tomorrow, his first arrival will be next Friday. I have 90 Shards now and I'm worried that won't even be close to enough. Hoping to have around 200-300 by next Friday now.

Is wardcliff coil any good? Seen mixed stuff on it.

Not sure if it's any good in serious settings but it's a -lot- of fun for me to use lol. Really easy to kill yourself with it, the explosion radius is pretty big. Shots fly around wildly the farther you are so it's pretty RNG how much damage its gonna do, I like flying up and firing down with it.

There's more than 1 strike active, right? I got Inverted Spire like 3 times in a row and couldn't play through it a third time in a row

Do you guys ever retain rares or is it all scrap metal in the hopes of getting those higher models?

I've been scraping them, I've hit the point were they don't go any higher though. Just holding a few for Infusion for my other characters.

They are beautiful.
A total unexpected joy. Honestly, to me they showed that Bungie really understands what they've made.

I've heard 14, someone even said 12. I was 15.
I almost wish the lost Sectors weren't on the map. Half the fun in exploring is finding unexpected stuff.
I hear you yeah, even just having it be toggleable. I can kinda forget they're on the map every so often at least :P

GAME ENDING SPOILERS

So now that we have defeated the Cabal dude who the hell is the big bad guy in the raid? Also what the fuck were those ships that the traveler's light woke up?

Yeah, I kept getting Inverted Spire earlier and when I finally got a new one it was
ANOTHER VEX MISSION GAAAAAAAAAH

Lost sectors is definitely the best way to level light 200-265, I started looping them and was clearing each one in 5-6 mins and moving on to the next. They reset after 60-90 mins so can just that for a few hours, you get 1-2 blue items (never got anything higher) but it is pretty fast way to build up your light solo. You could probably go from 200 to 265 in under 6 hours.

Love the vibe of the Adventures. Feel much more mysterious and exploration focused.

I wasn't expecting nearly as much combat as they have either but feel they have hit a perfect balance here with exploration and combat which sometimes feature small puzzles and raid-lite mechanics.

Adventures has the same result although they take a bit longer to complete. I love having Lost Sectors and Adventures as options in addition to Strikes and I guess PvP as far upping your Power Level (I guess Light Level is a thing of the past?). I've been running those two activities all day and have gone from 233-to-255 while enjoying myself instead of getting burnt out on the 5 Strikes.

They're either just a new enemy or the actual Darkness. You can see a few of those ships in the opening cinematic even! They've been around for a while, were in concept art for D1.

As for the raid, there's an adventure that hints to its contents called "invitation from the emperor". I think you can even see the raid location in the vision you get during the game, for just a flash.

So I really wanted to hold out for the PC version but I think I'm breaking to get it on console. Should I wait? Do characters transfer over from version to version?

we lowered the Nightfall boss's health to about 5%, then the timer run out, fuck this game, fuck the timer, fuck who thought about it and fuck who approved it

What stats? I'm assuming the answer is "you can't, go to a tracker site."
no one said anything about OP. looks like a very fair and balanced gun to me in fact, fair and balanced.

Really? In the first game you could even check the amounts of enemies killed as well as descriptions of each enemy type. I'm seriously disappointed in this

anyone know how to go about getting Cabal Supply Caches? it wants to to get three and I have no idea where or what to look for. it's apart of the Challenges quest lines.

Emperor Calus (as revealed in an adventure on Nessus) is in system and offering opulence to those who return to his command after betraying him and following Ghaul here. It is highly suggested he'll be in the raid, the Leviathan seems to be his ship too.
The ships at the end seem to be the fifth race, we first saw those triangular ships in concept art for Destiny 1. Its highly possible they are the ships of the true enemy "The Darkness" and it has been dormant outside of the galaxy since the collapse. In the intro animation to Destiny 2 we hear again the backstory and that the Traveler had been pursued by an ancient enemy - at this point a triangular shape passes infront of the traveler... hinting again that tha triangular ships are its true enemy (for example The Hive worship the darkness aka the deep, so are only the darknesses followers not the actual darkness).

The Raid is
the Leviathan. The bad guy is likely some unrelated thing inside of the Leviathan, which is a space fish thing.

In regard to the post-credits scene,
I personally believe that is the physical embodiment of the Darkness. And I don't think we'll be seeing them again until Destiny 3 on PS5.

Spoilers
if you got the CE version it came with a book about Cabal. In it was a story from an exiled Cabal emperor whose been imprisoned on the levitation named Calus. He told us to kill his enemies.

Twist:
Destiny is canon in the predator universe

Also get the scout maps from Cayde. I run through all them one time in EDZ and had 35 Tokens, which leveled up that guy a couple times.

I suspect it will be Former Cabal Emperor - Calus - he is briefly mentioned in one of the early Ghaul cutscenes. Lots of interesting lore in this Cabal booklet that came with the limited edition. The raid is called Leviathan and Calus has been exiled to Leviathan. Lots of other names in the booklet which were nowhere to seen in the main story so I suspect we'll see them in them in raid.

FYI it seems it's not a living thing like a fish or something but It's a ship, a planet eater and the main vessle of Emporer Calus. But some art seems to contradict this while others go along with it -- kind of confusing.

We also have a possible
Taken Queen, in the form of Savathun (the Witch-Queen and a Hive Goddess),
as teased by the Taken King's ending and the
Taken Orbs on Io.

Anyone keen to just do some random lost sector runs/ hunt for treasure/public events in the EDZ? I been solo this whole time so far, haven't completed the game?

Add me on PS4
