no :(

I thought they added a older character back for cheaper in Revelator but I guess not. I think I was thinking of Raven who is cheaper, but he's cheaper because you can unlock him in game?

Yeah.

Xrd also did it so you could get DLC characters for free for the first week which is something I think could work for this game for at least some returning characters. cough*Wolverine*cough

Anybody else notice that the logo for infinite looks like the sonic heroes logo?

"hey guys did you know that a game using the infinity symbol as a logo looks like the logo of another game also using the infinity symbol as a logo?"

im assuming you misstyped Sonic Forces, cause i don't seee the heroes logo there

Where are my underground NY streams? I was lied to!

Placing my bets that by the 12th we start getting leaks from the retail copies.
The story mode will definitely be posted in it's entirety before launch.

Remember how weird the Street Fighter 4 launch was? Where store's were just able to sell it as soon as they got it and it was all over the place due to random truck shipments?

Review codes aren't even out, gonna be a bit till retailers get them I'd think.

Also a pretty strict embargo on the game. I wouldn't F with Marvel's legal.
Especially with the legal power of Mickey involved. Not even Phoenix Wright can stand up to Disney's lawyers.

I wonder if that 20 minute video was mostly/all Arcade mode or not.
Almost definitely all Arcade.

I'm guessing Ultron Sigma is supposed to be the "mini boss" that other article mentioned... which one again makes me sad this game's presentation is so bad and a) Ultron Sigma's intro still pans the camera as if it were a tag match and b) there's no transition between Ultron Sigma and Ultron Omega.

Maxilluminati has the hookup i bet

He already said he did (or will), he's not hiding it :p

Look out for them Russian underground streams. If Disney couldn't stop Infinity War from leaking then there's a chance.

I don't even want some shitty ass stream unless it's pros, if I want to see someone stumble their way through missed combos, I'll watch myself when I get it.

I want leaked Hunter pictures, and possibly Venom or whoever else pops up in the story.

Hopefully not just NYC getting the game early since its supposedly in route cuz I live in Mi an gonna find a copy somewhere if they get it by this weekend.

So does that mean that the "fixed teams for Arcade based on Story Mode" idea is incorrect and its all random?

I really don't see how this game will hit 2 million copies with how poorly the game seems to be marketed.

Despite how fun the game looks to play it feels like Capcom sends it out to die despite seemingly being committed with season passes for years.

It won't.

To be fair, Capcom is always batshit crazy with their sales predictions the last few years.

Naw, it wouldn't. If I'm being generous, I believe MVCI would reach 1.2m sales within 16-18 months or so.

The art in these older VS games was soooo good. I love that shocked/yawning/surprised/angry wolverine

That's way too pessimistic. 2 million in 6 months isn't that outlandish as long as there isn't a launch disaster. Your prediction is the kind that kills franchises.

It's all depends on the reviews, first impressions and words of mouths. I do really want to see the product to be successful so we could receive more characters for fans who didn't get their characters like X-Men, Ms. Marvel, Vergil, Wesker, etc. However the way Capcom and Marvel handle the product was pretty bad. As much as I enjoy Marvel and Capcom's products, but you have to understand it's already settled in people's minds that Capcom messed up with Marvel Vs. Capcom: Infinite in term of product quality models, art style, etc. That's why I'm pessimist as heck.

I could see 1.2 million in the first month of so, but not over the course of a year.....unless the reviews are shit & the launch is a disaster.

That's true they have good shot at it because the game isn't exclusive to one console this time so hopefully they would do very well this time.

Recent Capcom games don't have legs though...

They actually have legs but it's very slow, like SFV and RE7; like 200K over few months or so.

Yeah Capcom games don't typically have legs in the westr. RE7 dropped off all charts by the end of march. For whatever reason capcom titles are pretty front loaded.
The only title off the top of my head that had any legs was RE5. Where they actually changed their expectations to more copies sold than they originally predicted.

1 million to 1.5 and anywhere in-between is more than likely what we'll see and that'll be with the shipped numbers included (Which I think has been the case for capcom unless otherwise noted).

Could manage 2 million if word of mouth really picks up and it has a good black friday deal.
Along with Thor Ragnarok pushing the casual side of things.

I don't think I'd call Capcom a AAA publisher. More like a AA lol.

Which is where one of capcom's biggest struggles lie. They wan't to be AAA but they're not and can't seem to accept that fact. Even something like RE7 is small time when compared in-scope and budget to mostly all AAA houses. Especially Square which seems to be the biggest in third party in Japan.

thus the quotation marks.

They should follow in tecmo shoes. of course that's hard to do when you have investors wondering why they aren't selling RE5 numbers for every game.
