I've hit 20, unlocked all my subclasses and I haven't even been to the fourth zone yet. Been doing nearly every Adventure and a ton of public events.

Is everyone actually picking Titan?
I've had the past two days off so I have been playing a bit. Still, up to the next to last planet and have done some crucible/public events and I feel like I haven't been really grinding. Been easy.
However, as soon as I hit 20 today my armor drops are like only a point or two higher, lol.

I guess you can get it for like $50 if you have Amazon Prime. There aren't going to be any deals on the PC version until at least Black Friday.
If you have a GTX 1070/1080 you can get a NVIDIA code for $30ish

Man, Nessus is beautiful. It's basically this game's Venus (gorgeous vistas), except it has one huge problem.. and she's talking in your ear every few minutes.

Subtle things that are fantastic:
-When you come out of a campaign mission and are in basically dropped out in that spot on patrol. Rather than getting that feeling of "they are just reusing the patrol area for story missions" like it was a cheap reuse of space, you get a sense of how the area you were just in in the story connects to the overworld, which I'm sure is the feeling they were originally going for but failed because of no map and only one spawn location per destination.
-Being able to just set a waypoint of your own on a map at all and head towards it makes it feel immeasurably more like an "open world." Maybe the effect is mostly psychological, but this is real.
-Despite having them marked on the map and in-game with the symbols, it is still possible to accidentally stumble into a Lost Sector while just messing around. fkin sweet
-Shared inventory means any Tokens you get on any character just go into a stack you can redeem on any character. So if you play a bunch with your whole account in one zone some week, you can use them all on whichever character you feel like without having to move stuff around and keep your rep levels straight in your head. So much better.
-Randal the Vandal homage?

Guarding one of the EDZ Region Chests there's a Reaver Vandal with just a ludicrous, insane amount of health, tanking multiple rockets, etc.

So what's the best way of levelling your power once you hit 20, I'm not there yet but I have already done a bunch of the faction levelling with engrams waiting for me. Can you just keep doing these again and again with the tokens, or is it once a week?
Actually a mishmash of stuff I got from EDZ and Nessus, chest piece is a legendary from the latter and I got the mark randomly in the former iirc, and then the Dunemarchers for the leg piece. Colored using one of the Nessus shaders since I like it a lot (I have a maroon shader I want to use but ehhhhhh).
Failsafe is the best character in the game.

Just getting started, and wow, this story seems like a mess. Just going to spoiler all of this even though it's in the first hour or so...
Did a miss a cutscene, or was there no explanation about the "vision" of the shard in the beginning? In my game I just arbitrarily got to the point where the ghost says "there's the shard we saw in our vision!" What?? Uh, ok... I guess?
And then, after getting to the shard and restoring my powers, I'm just sent back to the farm, which is now chock full of the people who fled the planet and left me behind? It just seems...weird.
