Destiny 2 |OT| Here We Go Again

Ok so i finished the campaign. So much better than the first game. However one thing makes no sense and please let me know if i missed something. End game spoiler
your the only guardian who has the light. But there are clearly other guardians (the other players).
You see them through out the play through. Then at the end you are still the only one. Yet your in town full of guardians with the light. Plus strikes and fire teams go against this entirely. Is this just something they simply are just not gonna address and go "vidya games bro, shrug" to? It seemed at the end that the light still hasn't returned to anyone but you yet.

While pvp isn't the greatest to pick up and play casually( it's still a pretty good experience though), I think it has a chance to be a monster hit with the esports community.

Ludonarrative dissonance whoo

So its "vidya games bro, shrug".

Seems.dumb when an easy fix would be
have the story be that the shard could only power a handful of guardians rather than one. At least then you can kinda accept it. Well not really but its better than this.
.

Up to Titan now and did the first few missions there. I had to take a few days off to do some traveling.

Actually had some success in crucible with my level 7 Titan using a sidearm and a sticky grenade launcher. I'm enjoying Titan especially as it's completely different than what I expected.

Also got my first subclass item, so that's interesting. Loving the new story emphasis and color added.

Also strikes and missions where guardians light is being stolen. Yet they have no light... So. How?

If we assume that the new raid will be primarily Cabal focused, then wouldn't the new Skyburner's Oath energy scout rifle be one of the best weapons to use? I really want one.

Solar, Full Auto, Increased Cabal Damage, Shield Penetration -- I don't see a downside with that thing.

Hitting a huge wall in the 260+ range. Legendary packages from vendors max at 265 unfortunately.

So do Engram caps change as you level up? For a while now mine have been 265, including ones from rep NPCs, I've gone up to 279 and now their rewards have been boosted to 270.

I'm fairly sure it's a scaling percentage below whatever your max light level is. I've hit bumps at 245 and 265 - you need to get lucky and get a really good "powerful loot" or exotic roll which really ups your average and then the blues / vendors increase slightly allowing you to get more pieces of gear to the new 'soft cap' which slowly drags you over the hump.

My blues and vendors are at 272 now.

At the end I'm pretty sure everyone got their light back. The traveler clearly had it, as Gary got it, then it was used to destroy him. So I'm pretty damned sure after the campaign is over everyone got their light back. During the story, yeah you are right,
plot hole seeing other guardians

What power level are you? You could probably solo the strike up until the point you need to to get the exotic. It's not the whole thing you need to do. I soloed that part.

I'm 270 but at a certain point the game was being so cheesey.

Fallen robots that could electrify an area beneath you was lame.

I ended up solo-ing it up until the servitor kill and then I left. It took so much longer because I was trying not to die.

Man Destiny PvP is still trash tier. If there wasn't quests to get good gear from doing it. I wouldn't be subjecting myself to it's torture.

So I'm level 20, been playing several hours now. Haven't finished the campaign yet (waiting for a friend to get on so we can roll together).

My biggest complaint is that we are fighting almost the exact same enemies as last time. Hive in particular are just the worst for this. Oh boy! Getting swarmed by husks again! I just killed my ten-thousandth acolyte? I think some of the Knights got a new gun?

Each faction gets like one or two new enemies and the Cabal got the biggest overhaul by far, but it doesn't do much to freshen things up.

Uh oh a Vex Hydra with the same gun and same revolving shields just spawned!

I don't even know where to take off points. Gameplay? The gameplay is still fantastic. It's just that this game deserved new factions of enemies and not the same. exact. ones.

A HOBGOBLIN! better make sure to kill it in one hit or it will crouch down and regenerate all its health forcing me to wait three seconds before I can even damage it again!

Yeah the lack of new enemy types is severely disappointing.

At light level 239 now. Is there another method to increase than just doing these patrols? It's becoming soooooo boring.

Also is there a way to bring our exotics up to max level somewhere down the line?

Is there a post or guide that outlines what all the currency is used for?

Now there is, looking for this info?

Glimmer

Currently stuck at 274 Light Level.. If I turn in faction tokens, will the rewards be lower like they have been for regular legendary drops?

Ending today at Power 268. Slight improvement thanks to some exotics and lucky drops. Should probably try and get the nightfall out of the way tomorrow.

Okay so I have a 266 Hunter, I was stupid enough to do cayde's weekly thing when I was like 220 but I still have the Exotic Quests/Crucible Milestone/Clan EXP Milestone/Nightfall Milestone can I still get to 280 before the raid drops?

Could PvP you know, not put me in a match against a full clan pre-made? Parties are ruining PvP (which is kind of amazing since it's already bad.)
