Destiny 2 |OT| Here We Go Again

Hunter yeah (though I was a Titan and my friends were Hunters). Arcstrider + Raiden Flux (exotic chest that boosts duration of the arc super) = stunlock the boss. If there are at least two of you you'll absolutely annihilate him. Not sure how efficient it will be without the exo chest but with 3 of you it should still be doable if you're all rocking the same subclass.

Essentially the idea is that for the boss you have three Arc supers prepped (best roaming supers for all the classes) and then once Arc burn kicks in, unleash it all on him. 10 seconds is all it will take to melt him.

For us the problem was the tank section. We got there with 10 minutes to spare but then we get a bit eager and fuck it up. If you can nail that section then it's smooth sailing.

Yeah that's fine for the ordinary ones. Takes about 10 minutes on average depending on the ability of your whole team but no doubt smashed in less time if you're all efficient in making it through rather than trying to kill everything when you don't need to.

Awesome thanks for the suggestion. I'm going to try and run it in an hour or so if anyone is keen to try for rat king.

Tried to attend my first public event last night.

Only player there. Did not complete the objective. Lol :[

In my experience the ones on Titan seem to be well frequented, especially the walker ones because that one is super easy to trigger the heroic. I've even done it solo.

This seems like a stupid question, but is it possible to do strikes outside of the strike playlist? I assumed it’d be possible to access them from the planets but I can see any markers for them. I’ve finished the campaign.

does Luke means that the Raid on normal drops gears up to 280 ? or did he mean that this was the recommended level to play the Normal Raid ?

It'll be like the other raids, where the level of enemies is 260 at the start, and by the end will be 280. So ideally you'll want to be around 280 so that you don't have a harder time at the end, though you may get some upgrade from the first couple encounters that helps you get there.

Hello DGAF! Destiny 2 has been a blast so far and even with the time constraints of family and work I have managed to get through most of the initial content (281 Hunter). I am looking for a little help in finding a clan to play with going forward. The one I am currently in does unlock rewards but I'm hoping to find one that is more community focused. I would like to play with different people and am based in New Zealand. If you are in a clan of positive (possibly lore loving) kiwis could you please send me a PM. I would appreciate it.

For whatever reason there's no way to select them individually at the moment, no. Not sure why because that was always an option in D1.

Ok hunter mains I have a question. I'm leveling up my hunter alt and I don't know why gambler's dodge doesn't reset my knife throwing skill all the time. Seems like it does once every 4 times.

So since crucible doesn't take power/level into account I'm assuming the fact that I seem to have higher ttk than some of my higher leveled opponents that some might have access to a better gun than me?

There's also the possibility that I suck too. But I don't necessarily feel outgunned by these guys.

The score in this game is so amazing, I used to mute sound in D1, I guess it was a mistake. I let it on cause I was playing alone and I have no regrets. The game is so beautiful too, I don't understand what was the tiny fuss about the change of engine, it was for the better (except maybe faces).

I like the score but it makes party chat hard to hear sometimes when it starts to soar lol

Faction Rally begins 09/26. Who you gonna rep?

i'm level 276, i think i can handle the Raid, but before i play it i will finish the Milestones and maybe i reach 280+

So are the open areas really bigger like they claimed? So far the planet zones don't seem any bigger than the ones in D1, and the public events being triggers and so contained make them feel much less varied. Also just seems like there isn't that many Public events as D1? I'm just not seeing the bigger scope that they tried to push

There aren't enough Strikes.

I was pretty shocked when I found out the game was only launching with 5 (or 6 on PS4) considering what the end game loop is. The game really needs a solid 10 at launch.

Hopefully this time around the DLC adds 2-3 strikes instead of the typical 1, but I'm doubtful.
