Is that game really *that* good? I played like the first 5 hours of it and liked it well enough but I put it down for other stuff.

For reference my first Atlus game I played from start to finish was Persona 5 and I thought it was great but definitely flawed as well.

I loved it. It's not really aiming for the same thing as P5 (which is to say it lacks all the simulation aspects) but personally I actually enjoyed its combat a lot more than P5's! To be fair I don't play a ton of RPGs but it made me understand the point of buffs and rebuffs (by demanding their use for bosses) in a way I had never really felt before, and along with the ways attacks chain together that made me think way more about strategy and skill usage than I normally do. It made me feel smart about how I played it and learned to get better at it in a way the other RPGs I've played didn't.

(And to be clear I liked P5 quite a bit too, but yeah.)

No. Those were remakes, not emulation.

Remasters.

They ported the original game with enhancements. The game uses most of the original scripts for events, including several that were unused even in the original game. I'd absolutely love a behind the scenes of these games at some point, but it seems unlikely so TCRF stuff will have to do.

But yes, regular 3DS is even too weak to emulate the N64, and the N3DS would still lack the oomph to emulate gamecube (let alone the fact that it's screen resolution is way too small).

Can we stop posting the 4chan rumour?
1) Anyone can post an anonymous "leak" on 4chan, they're even less credible than a predictions list here
2) The leak itself has barely any content for a 45 minute Direct unless Nintendo, for some reason, goes back to their old style
3) It doesn't include 3DS titles despite the Direct's description saying otherwise

I was keeping my hype in check and only expecting dates for known titles, but after watching the GameXplain discussion and the fact that it's such a long Direct my hype levels are rising a bit. Still not expecting a lot though as I'd rather be surprised than disappointed.

Man I would love #FE on Switch. I never got a chance to play it on Wii U and a Persona style RPG would be perfect to play in portable mode.

#3 solves #2 (assuming there are enough 3DS games to fill the rest of the time with), but #1 reigns supreme!

Never Forget the 4chan pre January 13th leak though, that was nuts. I love how they thought Mario's hat in the logo was a plane hehehehe

I completely forgot that second BOTW DLC was meant to come out this year. Makes sense for them to show it off here, that'll be neat.

I hope they also dedicate 20 minutes apologising for the online app and explaining their plans to roll out a real online/party chat/ voice chat system to the Switch in early 2018.

Last time we got a "leak" like this, it was completely false.

Yeah but back in January we got one like that and it was totally true

WHO TO BELIEVE??

Edit: I don't have Fallout 4 yet so I might get it for Switch if it's real. I have 3 and New Vegas on 360, I should play those sometime... *stares bleakly at backlog*

Also, Lobster Shirt in BotW FINALLY

Why are people still quoting that "leak"? Didn't Vern say that a direct was happening the day before that post was made?

As someone already said, 4chan isn't a person. Literally anyone can just post shit. Also again, there are no 3DS games even mentioned.

You guys realize that the January 12 leak was NOT "Dead on" right? They leaked everything that you would find on a show floor after the event. Xenoblade 2 was not in that leak. There will not be a show floor following this direct.

Not only that but they filled in a ton of things with their own conclusions. Mario's hat being a plane and ARMS looking like it was made by Platinum.

Funny how no one ever cites the one /v/ leak that said Sin and Punishment 3 and Tokyo Mirage Sessions Switch were being announced at E3!
