Having just bought a Switch, I can properly participate in these threads now, woo!
All I truly want, in my heart, is a Super Mario Galaxy 1 + 2 Remaster and more details on Pokemon Switch, and a Wii Sports spiritual sequel.
I know my dreams are far out, so I doubt we'll get any of that. Maybe a new IP or something? Some big third party releases?

Mother 4 won't happen. Itoi doesn't want to make anymore games for it, and I really don't see Nintendo getting another lead for it considering Mother IS Itoi pretty much.
Let's just hope Mother 3 can come over.

The only problem with DBFZ getting announced is it seems like they wouldn't want to undercut Xenoverse 2 right before release.

I don't actually believe it'll be NSMBS. I can't imagine they'd do something fresh and new like Odyssey but then choose to go back to that stale series.
That said NSMBU is bland and predictable and I don't know how people have convinced themselves that the decent-at-best level design is somehow superior to actual classics like SMW.
