I think this is a bigger concern in the game than the damage scaling in the game. Characters like Chris rely on chip to do any damage in neutral (Chris was nicknamed Chip Minefield in Marvel 3) so it blocks out certain archetypes from being good.
I don't think that's going to be the meta for resets.
Moves that normally have hard knockdown into an OTG, if you use them a second time cause a soft knockdown but the opponent can't tech roll into certain directions off of it. This works with Dante's Hammer, the second Hammer forces them to get up on the ground and they have to guess after that. Yipes already has a one hit reset into character death off Dante with it.

Doesn't even seem that hard of a combo, probably very close to just his BNB with 1 bar finishing with 3 bars. Power stone really adds a chunk of damage to hypers, I guess it changes damage scaling.
