Destiny 2 |OT| Here We Go Again

Any consensus on what the best exotic from
the first time you meet Asher
is? Sunshot, Riskrunner, or Graviton Lance?

I think most people really like Sunshot. Really enjoyed it in the Beta, but I went for Graviton Lance and honestly I should've grabbed that Sunshot when I had the chance. Graviton Lance wasn't bad but Sunshot felt a lot more powerful from what I remember. Riskrunner seems like the lowest on the totem pole because I think the exotic perk requires taking a specific type of damage to trigger the effect.

Riskrunner might be good for cheesing the Exodus Crash strike, though.

I hope in Destiny 3 they let us explore the NYDZ...
I wanted to play Tom Clancy's: The Division, but I just couldn't get over the idea of hoodies and cargo pants giving stat boosts...
Space armor? Sure...
Cargo pants? No.

I feel like a NYDZ in Destiny 3 would be the best of both worlds...

Did a Nightfall with the guided games.

Went to Zavala for my reward.

Got Legendary arms that gave me 2 PL and an exotic rocket launcher: The Wardcliff Coil (2 more PL).

Friendship regained with Bungie.

So guided games for the NF is just regular matchmaking? I thought it was related to clans helping people out, was that just for raids?

The game no longer displays the 'Road Complex AA1' hunter chest piece correctly. On the character screen it displays as it should, but on the main menu and in world it shows a completely different chest; one with ugly little bags over the front. >:(

Just played crucible and got the laggiest match I have experienced. They really need to put red bars in their own queue or something. It's insane how much lag assistance helps them.

Wow just seen someone with 'Crown of Tempests' on. Looks amazing.

Speaking of looks.. my Errant Knight legs are now displaying a generic model in-game?

It works both ways. Playing alone and joining a team from another clan, or searching for another player, which requires you searching with one clan member.

So I'm at around 220 Power right now.

I finished the story but I still have a ton of Adventures to do.

What is the easiest/quickest way to get the 20-40 more Powers I need?

Well, there was that rumor/leak on NYDZ for DLC that revolves around Warminds. It all sounded a little bit too good to be true though.

They changed the chest too? Interesting. The arms were changed because they had a reference to a hate group on it.

Farming public events is probably the fastest if you're saving the milestones until you're higher. At that level you'll get increases pretty quickly regardless of what you do though.

Good to be back in, I left work early to get home to get back on and it went down almost immediately forgetting there was maintenance, and then it ran a bit long.

I'm not sure if you're kidding or just didn't play the game, but hoodies nor cargo pants gave any stat boosts, they were cosmetic items only.

One thing I've noticed is the complaints about Pro's crashing with D2 but I've had two crashes in as many days on a base PS4. The fan goes crazy in the social spaces also, which is a bit worrying as no other game I own has managed to do this so far.

I had only one crash so far and it was waiting in the queue right after maintenance. Still kinda sucks.

Argh is this why its happened? Revert! Revert! I only just got my Hunter together in a gearset that looked decent after days of rags and guerrilla garbage. These tummy bags are killing me.

Sunshot is a PVE blessing (haven't tried it in PVP yet). You'll clear hordes of enemies easily with its explosions.

Sunshot is definitely more powerful but I really like Graviton Lance as well. They are similar in some ways but the GL explosion causes enemies to shoot backwards then explode, while Sunshot has them explode instantly without moving so it tends to damage adjacent enemies far more often.

I'm liking GL in crucible though. That no damage falloff on the third round is pretty nice.

Hoodies and cargo pants don't give stat boosts. In division the stat pool is so big now for gear that it's hard to get quality gear in it, yes the set pieces were fantastic though. Old NY in space Armor sign me up.

I played week 1 by doing everything as it became available, and will be doing week 2 in a similar fashion. Question is - is there an ideal sequence in which I should be doing milestones and such? I'm at 271 right now (with highest level gear on), but should I try to bump that up with the higher level (powerful) rewards right away, so then the legendaries start dropping higher? Right now, it seems all my faction rewards are capped at 265, with the infrequent 270 due to +5 mods. At what point does this change?

Also, I have +5 mods for both arms and legs, but I'm not sure if the 265 gear in those slots are the ones I'll be sticking with. It would bump my PL up, so is it advisable?

Yo fuck Hand Cannons. They may be OP When the PC version comes out, but as of now they are dog shit. I can't hit shit with them. Scout rifles are way more lenient with head shots for some reason.

I only ever played the Division beta for like an hour, decided the enemies were too bullet spongy for the aesthetic the game was going for, and went back to Destiny...

The difference between HCs on console vs PC is insane... It's so unfortunate how shit they are on console but I love HCs so it gives me yet another reason to look forward to the game on PC.

Sidearms are my new favorite on console.
