YOUR POST SHOULD LOOK LIKE A CIA BLACKED OUT DOCUMENT!

Thank You!

Still looking for Raid Team... anyone?

My raid group filled up while I was driving home from the gym. Guess I'm sitting this one out. :'(

If anyone's up to raid in fifteen minutes on Xbox One, let me know.

Considering I'm new to this game, I have to say this hype towards raids is pretty amusing.

But why exactly this haste in doing it immediately, even taking a day off work or calling it sick?

Is it a one time only activity (until reset) so if people don't do it right now there will be less players available to do it later?

It's true there's less people doing it late in the week, but mostly the race is bragging rights.

It is a race, the raids are really challenging and even after you figure out the mechanics require a lot of teamwork and skill. So first to complete gets props from Bungie and Destiny cred. If I could convince my 6 coworkers to take the day off, I would have. Destiny raids are the best thing in gaming.

You only get rewards once for the week. Figuring out the encounters before the internet spoils it is the big draw. The raid in Destiny is not like other encounters.

The first game had sections where you had to shoot certain enemies in certain orders or the raid would wipe, you had to carry a chalice to heal and pass it around. Kill certain things before timers. explore mazes.. etc etc.

if you just follow a guide on how to do it its not magic.

How does everyone feel about the TTK in PVP? There's a highly upvoted post on the subreddit right now from some old veterans complaining about the current state of crucible and many are upset that the TTK has been increased.

I, for one, am really enjoying the new crucible. I appreciate the lack of 1-hit kills and the over all slower pace.

work as a team.. its team based, they removed rumble for a reason.

if you want to run around and throw grenades non stop and use shoulder charge and super every 20 seconds and only use your primary weapon to finish someone off play D1.

im sorry. While it was fun it was not competitive. We played that version of PVP for 3 years.

Goth looted first chest and he got an engram, shaders, and tokens. Loot will be token based?

Let's play it out and see what else happens. In an actual boss encounter there might be weapon/armor drops. The tokens could be a side thing for a vendor.

Me too.

The vets just want to go nuts and wreck everyone like they did in D1. The skill they developed does not 1 to 1 carry over so they are pissed. They will adapt and be top of the heap once again.
