How does everyone feel about the TTK in PVP? There's a highly upvoted post on the subreddit right now from some old veterans complaining about the current state of crucible and many are upset that the TTK has been increased.

I, for one, am really enjoying the new crucible. I appreciate the lack of 1-hit kills and the over all slower pace.

Man I wreck as fast as I did in Destiny 1 with scout rifles. Wish the spine gauntlet gave me 2 tripmines though.

I, for one, am really enjoying the new crucible. I appreciate the lack of 1-hit kills and the over all slower pace.

I'm torn on the Crucible. On one hand I enjoy it a lot and my friends and I were still having fun, on the other hand a lot of the matches felt like they dragged on forever and I don't like being forced into Supremacy all the time. Almost every match I have takes the full duration and it is SLOW.

It's definitely a more tactical experience, but unfortunately I do find myself missing the more arcade-y style of Destiny 1 Crucible, where I could solo a bit more and didn't always have to rely on teamshots. It wasn't a better experience, just a different one.

So I like it, but I also don't.

I think Trials will be a hell of a better experience though than D1 Trials was.

I don't prefer it, D1 was greatness to me. It's not bad now, but not what I was expecting coming into D2

The vets just want to go nuts and wreck everyone like they did in D1. The skill they developed does not 1 to 1 carry over so they are pissed. They will adapt and be top of the heap once again.

Vets being "top of the heap" once again won't make the current problems with crucible disappear or make it more fun. There are significant issues regarding TTK, map design, weapon balance and matchmaking at the moment.

These problems also come along with p2p connections, 30 fps, and lack of options regarding choosing certain game types or doing private matches.

This mindset of yours is just dismissing actual criticism with a very weak counter argument that ultimately results in you just saying adapt and "git gud" ... People aren't critical of Pvp because they aren't good at it anymore... It's simply a mess of an experience all around at the moment.

I'd imagine it'll be from Emperor Calus himself. In the book that comes with the CE he essentially says he'll give you "wealth and splendor" for doing certain tasks for him. So he's more so using us to get us to do tasks for him rather than be the final boss or anything. So tokens = proof that we completed them.

And the tone suggested he was more friendly than actually directly taking you on or threatening... I thought it was odd at first but it kinda lines up with what you're saying so maybe you're right

That's the only thing you can do. Vice versa won't work

No real need. You will just get the same level as the higher one. If the same exotic, no need to ever infuse the other exotic into it.
