Destiny 2 |OT| Here We Go Again

Slow day of work and I want to hear success stories! Also for some reason, people don't also take the lead to get parties together or can't do it from their phone easily.

Selfishly, I want some experienced peeps to help guide me when I'm raid ready!
Which is really weird because people are always trying to lfg. Cmon people step up!

time will tell but I'm concerned over these loot drops I'm seeing... Getting tokens just isn't nearly as exciting as getting actual drops. I hope this isn't another oryx shard situation...

There are actual drops. Seems sort of rare though..

I'm more concerned that we're 3 different events in and not a single boss fight has occured.

The streamer I'm watching got a Pulse Rifle from the 1st chest(or 2nd).

So question: is it me or does the difficulty appear to be up a notch since before the patch this week? I'm sitting at 262 hunter and seeing myself die more often

So does the Prestige NF drop another luminous engram for completion if you already did the normal one? Or is it just more Vanguard marks, normal legendary engrams?

Goth/Datto are in the same area at the moment and
that yellow dog has a SHITTON of health/undiscovered mechanic to damage him, so that definitely counts as a boss? Pleasure Gardens

It seems like they're doing less boss-boss fights and more mechanic-oriented encounters. I dig it.

I'm just going to wait til everyone does the hard work and figures everything out in the raid.
I tend to be incredibly dense when it comes to figuring out puzzles in video games. I'd just get frustrated.

help me. I can't stop clicking on spoiler tags even though I really don't want to

Not that anyone probably cares, but I think the bloom is off the rose for me already. I had a blast up until the point where it's running through strikes or doing a raid to progress, almost just for the sake of progressing. I found myself wondering if it would be more fun to play BF1 over running crucible (it is), or if playing through many of the other games I own for good single player story. For all the hype and promises about how much content is in Destiny 2 over Destiny 1 (and to be sure, right now there IS more), I'm already through it and just can't be arsed to keep repeating scripted events for +x light level increases.

Ironically, I'm looking forward to Shadow of War, which is the sequel to the game that came out right after Destiny 1 that took me away and I never looked back. I'm probably a bit jaded in the online RPG / MMO department, and do realize that they can only create so much content before people chew through it, so I don't fault them for it.

It was fun while it lasted.

Just posting again to see if any east coast players are doing this tonight? UK myself but it's my best chance to get the tv to myself around 8-9 EST if any groups have a slot?

281 Warlock if there's any takers.

Really sucks I've haven't got a strong enough character and that I'm working, would have loved to go into raid blind with everyone else, now probably be next week when I do it someone will know all solutions straight away

I'm kinda feeling the same, the game is almost ... dare I say it, boring already. And I pumped hundreds of hours into Destiny. I was expecting this game to last me a long time and I can already tell it's just not gonna be the same.

I didn't even really go that hard on it, but for 60 bucks, I feel like I got my money's worth. I did buy the deluxe with the expansion pack, so I'll be back for that and to see if they added more stuff to do before then that isn't just repeating events over and over. On a side note - is the Destiny app bugged? It's showing my friend as online playing in the clan but he is showing as offline through PSN. I'm guessing he probably doesn't want his wife to find out lol.

What do you think is missing?

The abundance of supers, power weapons, a lower ttk, a faster pace, lol basically everything you probably disliked. I thought it all made Destiny a unique and amazing experience that helped alleviate some of the fps fatigue I was feeling at the time. Now when I play I feel tethered to my team for better or worse because ttk dictates I do so, so I feel restricted in a sense, but beyond that, the pacing may be TOO slow. I don't mind a methodically played game, but most matches don't even come close to finishing before the timer runs out, which leads me to believe that not even the devs intended for matches to play out this slow.
