I'll double check my xbox when I get back home tonight. When I found out about the insider program, I immediately jumped on the opportunity in hopes that trying to do what little that could be done before now might accumulate to something good. I doubt I'll be so lucky... but never hurts to try just in case.

Oh man, I'm in the Insider Preview, but never had an option for this beta when it came up, and still dont have this option :(

Man, I'm so desperate I F5'd that fake DBFZ giveaway page for an hour because they said they were gonna drop a code. I knew better but I still held on like an idiot. RIP.

Every information about the game and character trailers comes from Bamco channels there nothing that indicates that anyone has some marketing rights. Not to mention beta is on both consoles.
 
Wow, I havent been on a Live subscription for months and I dont remember opening that app lately, but I could just install the beta. Does that mean I am in it now?
 
After being rejected from the PS4 beta signup, I fired up my XB1 to check the Xbox Insider for the hub to find out this was available. This totally made my day. Can't wait to give this a whirl!

If you're in the Xbox Insider Program, be sure to check the App. You might have gotten in too.

Nope. They maybe have some kind of partnership however I don't think anyone has marketing rights as Bamco clearly does not concentrate on Xbox outside of maybe conventions. Every information comes through Bamco own channels, there's no Xbox only logo in the videos, no MS exclusives, collectors edition shows both PS4 and Xbox. For example MS youtube channel has only Trunks character trailer while PS EU has the Androids trailer from gamescom.
 
I downloaded the app, joined the Xbox insider program and downloaded the closed beta

Demo stations are all on Xbox. I'm going to guess Microsoft snagged this one somehow.
 
The game was featured at the MS conference at E3 and the recent tournament at Gamescom has them using Xbox pads.

They have a form of marketing I'm sure. But this is one of those occasions the game will probably have parity in sales.

I don't think they will parity in overall sales. Mostly because of how much stronger PS brand is for Japanese type of games and even fighting games in general.

wait you just joined insider and got access? I've been in the preview program for three years and there is nothing there for me. :(

I can confirm Xbox is letting basically everyone in.

I just downloaded the Insider app and the beta was right there to download. I've never used the app before and haven't even turned on my Xbox in months.
 
Man if Xbox really is letting in just about everyone this sucks. I dunno if it's Sony-side or Bamco-side but having to go through a month delay to then have so many people rejected is a bitter pill to swallow.
