So damn happy Yamcha is in! Got him, 16, and now all I need it Bardock and my team is set! Really curious who'll be next.
I really like Saiyan Saga Yamcha... but I still agree. I will pay real money for a Dragon Ball Yamcha costume. Or just a Dragon Ball costume pack. REAL MONEY.
I am just so damn happy he made the cut... This has confirmed that I am buying the game.
The characters I want next would be Kid Goku, Ginyu (with Ginyu force), Bulma (with a zany, capsule based moveset), and 17 from Dragon Ball Super.

Though, I'm not sure if they did the same with Labrys or not in magazines.

Updated the OP a bit. Made some avatars if you lads want 'em.
If I'm not mistaken it's called a parry and it doesn't act like a typical push block in this game unless there's a way to push people off of you while you're already blocking that I don't know of in this?
You can cancel your guard into it, so yeah it works like pushblock. Didn't know that was the name they gave it though.

Finally getting a few matches and man, the game is amazing! Currently rolling 16, Piccolo, Vegeta! Loving Piccolo the most so far since he can get good mixups in with his slow fireball and Akuma air chops along with the teleports! Damnit, wish it had a practice mode!

Didn't they confirm Labrys as playable right off the bat?
In the original arcade release of P4U/P4A Labrys was just a boss. She wasn't actually playable until the console port (which had all the story mode fixings) released later.
Hmmm, then maybe 21 could be playable if she ends up being the storys final boss.

Gonna bet characters only go as far as Goku Black arc. Universe Survival Arc probably gonna fill out the next game/season 2.
From Super we'll probably get Beerus, Cabba, Frost, Hit, Black (Rose), Fusion Zamasu (Goopy Arm would be unique) and MAYBE SS God Goku.
From Z we probably still have....Bardock, Broli, Nappa, Radditz, Ginyu, Mystic Gohan, Gotenks, Buu, Vegito...
(That's like 33 already...-3 for goku and vegeta forms if they dont take up selection slots? Would we get Blue Vegito at all?)
Might be overstepping, but I can't imagine anyone else besides those characters makes it (Maybe Recoume but I doubt it)
Holding off U6 and Black Arc characters until DLC could be something they do too (Even though Blue Goku has KaioKen Already...)

I dont want many characters in fighting games. Hell, I dont want any particular character in Marvel for example funnily enough.
Except for this. I NEED DBZF to have Gotenks in it. Surely there is 0% chance he doesnt make it in...but im still worried >_>

There's no way he's not in, one of the most creative characters in the series lol.
I'm so in love with this game. It easy for new players and shows dept for the pros. I'm hoping the story mode is good though.
