Oldboy - Recent Korean film that's totally fucked up (currently being remade - and probably watered down)

Brazil (non-US version) - Terry Gilliam's finest hour is a futuristic, bureaucratic comedy/love/action story.

Donnie Darko (Original version) - The directors cut spoiled everything by trying to explain the story line... it's far better when you have to make these decisions yourself.

Jacobs Ladder - a dark adventure in the mind of a Nam vet.

Memento - shit film made amazing by telling the story backwards!

After Hours - Martin Scorsese's awkward comedy classic.
