It depends on the store. You can try calling or driving by. Some places were doing lines, some weren't selling until the morning, and some didn't have any shipments in the whole district.

The stupid GameStop site makes me reset my password every time I try to check out, even if I'm able to log in to view my account info normally. After I reset my password, I was able to get in and add to cart, but proceeding to checkout made the site crash and give me a link to return to the home page. After a few rounds of that, it looks like the entire site is dead now. :| I guess its just as well. They charge like $5-7 for the slowest shipping speed.
Looks like I can get the main site to load, but any attempt to interact with the cart results in a long delay, then a crash. Good times!

I'm gonna try my local Best Buy in the morning, I think. There's just one here. My area definitely has a pretty dedicated Nintendo following given how the Switch launch turned out (plenty of units but plenty of people also showed up without preorders) and just how damn impossible it is to get preorders or day 1 walk-ins for amiibo releases, but it doesn't seem as fiercely cutthroat as my hometown was. I've generally had "walk-in" success for everything shy of amiibo around here, though I didn't try for an NES Classic last year... Supply for those was so short that it was nearly impossible to get everywhere, it seems.

Same here, but then I looked at their hours and they close at 12 and they're the superstore too. I thought those open 24hrs? I went to one of them before past 12am but it's showing closed at 12am.

Paypal has the order from Gamestop but not sure. I will still head out at 6AM for my Local one just in case.

I'm not sure if your serious. They all have the North American version, which has a different design. You probably have bought a European version.

I came back from a store that sold out and the tracker is true, shows sold out. A few other Walmarts near me show 5 in stock, 9, 3, 3, etc.
