I had a phantom thinkgeek order from couple of weeks ago.

Can't find order on the site, or under my acct, but they tried to clear it anyway the other day.

One of the overpriced bundles. Luckily it declined on my CC (I have one from Target enroute and would have cancelled it). Still couldn't see the order anywhere.

The site is funny when it is under load.

Yeah, I’ve gotten that twice. The fact that I haven’t gotten a ThinkGeek order confirmation email leaves me wondering.
I did this after placing an online order for in store pick up at Target which also left me wondering if this was going to happen or not.

Well, I tried to order from GameStop...kept giving me errors, so I tried to order again...now I have 3 pending transactions for the bundle on my Paypal, but order never went through

Thanks! I just saw some ppl got theirs cancelled a couple of pages back. I'm getting kinda anxious now. Feels like shit is turning into a free-for-all lol

Nice! I guess then it’s safe to assume that anyone who paid through paypal and received a transaction notification will likely be getting one?

Got one on think geek. The page crashed when my order went through but I got a receipt and got charged too. Hope the rest of you get one since it seems like Nintendo did out out more stock than NES classic.

Are you in the UK? I have an Amazon UK order I'm looking to cancel...I would gladly trade it for a US one though
 
Did some reconnaissance. 3 people lined up at a Best Buy at 4 am EDT. Walmart that opens at 6 am had no signs of people. If yours has decent stock (mine say ~18 at BrickSeek), I think that's the best option. I'll probably go back at 5:15 or so.
 
So I got mine from Walmart at a midnight release and just hooked it up. Started Super Mario World and the intro music seems completely messed up. Like there are parts in the beginning where the music seems to just cut out for a split second.

Fake Edit: Crap it does it on the overworld song too. There's no way this is how the music sounds on all of them right? Did I get a defective unit?
 
I somehow managed to get one through ThinkGeek. I ordered from outside the US to be sent to a US address. I paid using credit card not Paypal, so anyone know if there is a risk of having any problems with my order or I should be clear at last?

EDIT: Already received my receipt email.

It happened to me system wide when I used the nes mini hdmi cable. Once I switched to the snes mini hdmi cable the issue was gone. I don’t know why.

i trying to use my debit card but didnt work, i have a pending charge on paypal but no confirmed order.....

I just tried several other games and they all seemed fine. Tried a system initialization and a couple different HDMI cords and ports and Mario World is still borked. I mean if it's the only game with issues I'll just deal with it, but it's really bizarre.

EDIT: Also the music in the first stage is fine. Hopefully only the title screen and world map have this issue...

EDIT2: I isolated the problem. Seems like my sound bar and SNES mini don't get along. I guess I'll just use my crappy TV speakers for that authentic nostalgia gaming.
 
UK here, missed the preorders on the initial announcement and was sleeping during Amazon's preorders a month or so ago. Checked in some places on the way to work (HMV etc) with no luck, GAME only did preorders, and I called my nearest independent game shop which is a bit further out and they've sold out already. I'm pretty disappointed.

Anyone else in the UK still on the lookout in case Nintendo delivers on their word on having more stock? Any advice?

Yeah I think they are just really behind. I have a charge on my card and a confirmation # and receipt after i put in the order as it went fully through with no errors but no email yet.

Just waiting on it.

Mine got stuck when paying then got an error but Paypal sent me a email saying payment went through at 3:27am then got a email at 4:13am saying the order went through and it's wainting to ship.

Have faith!
 
Actively looking for it in stores here in Berlin.

So far, Gamestop Wilmersdorf - only delivering pre-orders.

Saturn Zoo Garten - No where to be seen.

Will try now Mediamarkt and Saturn in AlexPlatz. But I don't think they will have it anyways.
 
At 11:45 we made it to Wal-Mart. There were 30 people in line for 30 consoles and the end of the line people were shushing people away. We decided to wait anyways, at 11:55 they announced they had 36 consoles.

We got ours because people were being told to leave, awesome luck for us, but I feel bad for the ones that should have gotten it from being there sooner.

Anyways, guess I'll join in on it community thread :)
 
Nice. Second in line at my local Target and I hear they are getting 78 units. Brickseek is showing anywhere from 30-50 units at other local Targets (mine isn't listed yet) but it looks like my wait will pay off.
 
Had no idea this was getting released today. Saw an ad while browsing the net and decided to walk to the nearest electronics store. They had no idea what a "SNES Mini Classic" is and whether they have it or not. A guy went to search in the backroom and turns out they had plenty in stock.

Gotta love Finland<3

EDIT for verification that this is really me. Asked for a ResetEra invitation in Discord a few minutes ago.
 
Just pulled into Target in Central NJ. 3 people Lin line, 60 snes's available. Guess I got here a bit early. ;)


Oddly. Brickseek now says 46. Wonder if the staff bought some after they closed the previous night

That's what I was thinking. Brickseek showed 70+ at a local Target a couple of days ago, and now it's 53.
