Just got mine. It's so little and dinky!

I'm divided on the decision to put US games on EU consoles, though. On one hand, I like having the 60Hz versions of games, but on the other, the French/German versions are missing, and all the on-screen controllers use the Purple Horror controller.

Got less than an hour until another Walmart I'm at now opens. 5th in line about 3 hours ago with about 22 behind me, so I'm good.

Been busy with Golf Story and Pokken.

Went to a nearby 24 hour Walmart last night at 10PM, ended up being 30/31 in line and walked out with one at midnight. I'm very surprised I was able to get one on day one. I hope everyone else out there last night and today is able to grab one up as well.

Surely helps that we know more are coming later and new batch of NES minis' too. I cancelled my pre-order as the price was 150$ here for the first units, i can wait till the 80$ versions are available again.

Has anyone had their Walmart preorder from 8/22 ship yet? I was just charged a third time this morning, as a pending charge, but the order is still "preparing".

This is beyond frustrating.

Walmart Edmonton 7am opening. Got here at 6am. Tickets given out, looks to be around 50 to 60 people. Got my ticket thankfully!

Went at 5:30 this morning to Target and was #17 out of 29. Had no idea that they opened at 7am. I think most of them open at 8.

Got mine! MISSION COMPLETE!

Finally a perk for working overnight shift and getting off at 7am lmao. Target was clutch as hell. Good luck everyone else getting their SNES Minis!

Walmart, San Jose at Story Rd. There was 61 yesterday. Called yesterday evening, they said there's no midnight launch party.

Apparently there was a launch party at midnight. Now there's 34 left according to Brickseek. 22 in line here now at 5:15pm.

Definitely some scalpers here though...

Managed to get hold of all three of my preorders (no, not for scalping I can assure you!).

One of my Amazon.de orders is on its way to a friend in The Netherlands right now (because I changed the delivery address as soon as it became clear the other 2 would make their way to me as well), while the other Amazon order (under my wife's account) arrived this morning at my place in East Germany. My third, a future gift for my mom, is ready to be picked up at my local Saturn, which, so far, have not let me down when it comes to Nintendo related pre-orders (including amiibo).

It did cost me that week of its unveiling in terms of having to be vigilant pretty much all day to get these preorders in, as well as the sheer luck of looking at that closed thread right when someone posted the link to Amazon.de, but the end result is at least good (minus the too high price of 99 euros that is...). Hope the rest of you will get yours soon as well!

Got a ticket from GameStop!
In other news, some jerk friends of mine got to the local Walmart at 10 last night and somehow managed to buy their ENTIRE inventory....

I'm so jealous of you. I wish i could go back to playing that game for the first time.

It was my first RPG and probably the greatest of all time.

I really should have got round to playing it sooner having completed FF7 so many times. I guess playing with a SNES pad on a big screen is best for a first run anyway :)

When I worked at Gamestop back in the day, we were at least ready for stuff like this. Especially if you send out info about it widespread.

Makes me wonder if some stores didn’t get the memo. All I can hope for is that they hand them out before the store opens. About 20 strong now, but more people slowly showing up.

Just got one (I was #32 of 36 available) at the Round Rock TX Wal Mart.

Arrived in line @ 545....another 3 mins and I would have been unlucky.

I was right to scream at the slowpoke ahead of me in the Dunkin Donuts line.

Going to wait until my kids are home to open it together.

I am 44 and today is a good day. I love you all.

It's raining and this best buy doesn't seem to be doing a ticket system so we're all getting soaked for the next almost two hours. The struggle is real

There were only 40 people at my target. I was 3rd. Went out the parking lot to put my snes away after buying it and then go buy toothpaste and they handed me another ticket. Now I am in line for a second one to send my best friend as a birthday present.

Got mine at Target, must have had 60-80 units minimum. Got there at 7:20 AM and was about 40 something in line, plus a bunch of people who waited earlier got tickets and came back.

OMFG the prices on Amazon US / DE / UK. It's absolutely insane. I pre-ordered my SNES Mini for only 50 EUR.

Where did that happen? o.o I preordered on the first day for 89,90 EUR. Still happy, but wondering where you would have gotten it for 50 bucks.

Glad to see that people have been able to get them! This seems to be a lot better than the NES. Mine isn't coming until next week :(

Yessss! Got one. Went to Walmart at 5:30. When I pulled up there was about 6 people waiting. A manager came out and asked us to move across the street, to which everyone said fuck that, and we just formed our own line in the middle of the parking lot. At first they had no system but eventually a manager came out and handed out numbers. I was 8 of 15. They had a limit of one per customer.

Waited an hour and half and got my golden ticket at Best Buy. They will hold the reservations until 1 PM, so for those that miss out, go check out BB to see if anyone didnt pick up their res and they should probably sell it to you.

The 3 Targets nearest me (2 in Sterling and 1 in Leesburg VA) all opened at 8 and were sold out at 8:15 when I called. Each had around 50 or so allocated.
