So I guess Processing is a step before preparing?

Mine is still processing but I did get a damn email. Ugh

I don't think my order has ever been "processing". It's been "preparing" since I placed the order in August.

It comes with the required USB Micro-B cable, but no 3 pin wall adapter.

The mini works fine powered from a TV usb port (needs 2.3W).

Nintendo sells the USB adapter from the NES Classic on their website, but any Micro USB adapter will work, too. Nice to know a TV USB port works also!

I forgot to mention when I checked out at Target, they actually had a bunch of other stuff like 2Ds's, a couple of the purple galaxy pattern 3Ds's that look really neat, and a couple of Switches no one even seemed to care about.

Was 155 / 200 in line at Best Buy, and got it. Surrounded by scalpers who already had a few from nearby Toys'Rus and GameStop. One of them was on the phone with a friend in Staten Island who said a Target there was deserted and had full shipments... His other friend said how are they gonna get to Staten island by car since the only way there was by ferry... lol...

Was that treasure truck in Boston during the NES classic restock? it's in the seaport district right near the convention center area which is a decent location but I'll be bummed if it was here for the NES classic

Has anyone noticed the Mini design is actually based on the French ‘La Snesse’ which has no ‘PAL VERSION’ text on the lid:

My August 22nd Walmart order has been charged to my CC again, and now I have 2 pending charges from the same order. Sigh.

Speaking of USB cables, I have a really dumb question. Is there any danger using a "turbo capable" phone charger wall adapter instead of a normal USB wall adapter?

Can't speak to all of the fast chargers, but the Samsung QC adapters are hazardous to use on other devices, at least officially.

Ugh, I might end up ordering an AC adapter if I can find any in stock then.

*edit* I'm an idiot and forgot the U.S. version includes one, hooray.

I think Walmart's 8/22 preorder session was a mistake and they're shipping 8/25's first. Probably get us 8/22s in another shipment.

Used the Amazon app to go to instant pickup under Programs in the menu and searched for it under there. It took awhile to actually get instant pickup to show up on the app though. You have to add the store address as one of your shipping addresses.

I dont see that program under my list :(

I got two of these and tested them both today. They are really awful. I know they are only $24 or $29 bucks....but I don't think they are worth the money.

The DPad is poor (cannot trorw a fireball in SF2:T....hell I cannot even do a Sumo Headbutt).

The buttons seem to be constantly dropping input as well. I was sitting about 20 feet from the unit when I first tested it then moved substantially closer, within 4 feet. Same issues.

Any one else have these problems?

Ugh, I'll try mine out in 20 minutes when I'm off and report back.
I've got the receipt, wonder if GS will take it back.

You know I’ve played most of the SNES catalogue, and its by far my favorite console, but i’ve never played Secret of Mana, Star Fox, Megaman X, or even Super Castlevania IV. And I love Megaman, Castlevania, and Star Fox games!

What games do you think save states are most useful for?

First one that comes to mind for me is Star Fox.

Probably Super Ghouls and Ghosts.

I don’t think I’m gonna be able to get one of these

If today's launch is any indication, outside of any preorder debacles, anecdotally it really seems like they DID produce more units, at least for launch.

That being said, this thing is NEVER going to be an item you just walk into a store and get between now and Christmas.

If you REALLY want one, it seems like you'll be able to get one through some planning and a bit of work.

Good, let them buy everything. I wonder when they will realize theres more scalped stock than what people need.

If anyone is in the columbia maryland area im about to cancel my preorder at best buy columbia gateway. Was for my buddy but he ended up getting one last night and i dont need 2. Dont feel right reselling when people want it. I dont know how fast it'll get snatched up either.

Just curious what everyone's preference is for display frames/borders. I've been using this one while playing SMW and it's great:

Not distracting and the color changes appropriately based on what's on the screen. I didn't think I'd be using a frame at all but so far I haven't played without them.

My friend and I both scored one each waiting in line early at a GameStop. Mine is going to another friend, & we should be playing on his one soon.

The way the front panel needs to flip open for the controllers is kinda ug. Think they should've just had open ports and modified the size of the connectors.

4:3 and the same frame, City Scape one (last one) sometimes for fun.

You're better off picking it up and sell it to a local GAF member MSRP. I'd bite, but I already have one.

I was able to pick one up with Amazon instant at the GA. Tech campus location. They have more available if you are in the area and still looking.

So i need an extension cord for SURE I didn’t realize the cords were so short. are these any kind of normal cords or is this something proprietary i need to buy? Any advice on what to buy greatly appreciated

I really don't understand the supply constraints with these stupid things. I can sort of understand with a new console but wtf.
Imagine your local bakery preparing 100kg of bread and then 10 people come before 8 am and buy 10 kg each. Then everyone else get panic and goes to these people and and pays them 2-3 times the price for one kilo of bread. The next day 20 people try to do the same. Now people pay 4-5 times more. Its all the bakery's fault that didnt make enough.

My buddy just asked me if I knew the scoop to find one, we're on Kent Island near Annapolis. I'm seeing when he'd be able to get over that way.

First Impressions.

-Same blisters from d-pad. Authentic.

-Facebuttons are sort of different feeling, like they squeeze differently.

-The controller itself is a heavier more sturdy plastic. Doesn’t creak the same under stress. Or really at all.

-Beat MMX 1h 23m, game performs in a acceptable responsive way. Works good on hdtv.

-I’m excited to replay Super metroid.

I don't have my SNESc just yet (it's getting here on Thursday!), but I plan on using mainly the glowy one and the wireframe one. I love how the change colors depending on what's on screen :)
