Nioh coming to Steam on November 7, Nioh Complete for PS4 same day

Game gets repetitive half way through, beware...also the multiplayer functionality is not even close to on par with From Software's titles..dont' expect to play this with your buddy
Factually incorrect. Wtf is up with these type of posts in this thread?

Maybe because the decision to put it on PC was made after it was released on PS4...?
Nah. It was pretty obvious that that it was always coming to PC and that the PS4 was only timed exclusive. Sony just doesn't give a shit about game boxes. There have been games with that label that had a PC port released one month later.

Oh shit, this is coming earlier than I expected. Highly recommended to anyone who hasn't played yet. I'd double dip, but having put countless hours into the PS4 ver. and yet to buy the DLC, I'll stick with that since I want to continue that progress.

KT/Ninja Theory are smoking some good shit if they think using the PS4 Pro settings on the PC ver. is acceptable though.

PS and Xbox xonsoles are becoming obsolete if you don't care about the majority of their first party output.

It must be nice to live in a fantasy world.

It was announced as a console exclusive, which is a label used to designate a game that is not licenced for full exclusivity.

It was likely always planned for PC.

Hope its a good port, really enjoyed my time with the game and wouldn't mind playing again with the DLC.

Koei is actually know for terrible ports, so it's safe to assume that will continue.

Awesome news! I've been holding off on purchasing with such an abundance of great games to play this year. I'll definitely pick this up on PC.

Man, now I feel dumb for buying this on PS4. I haven't played through the DLC yet, but I'm not sure how I feel about playing through the main campaign again to get to where I was. I appreciated my time with Nioh, but the main campaign is extremely long, and it doesn't necessarily justify its length. I'll probably still pick it up, but most likely after it drops in price.

Guess I'll have to double dip, since the us version on ps4 did not have japanese sub, and the steam version has them all......

People just don't want to accept that this gen is Sony that moneyhats games into temporary exclusives.

I mean all three are doing it. Nintendo even moneyhatted Bit Trip Runner 3 to be timed exclusive iirc? And have we forgotten about Rise?

Difference being Sony moneyhatted an actual incredible game :x

Didn't realize this, my bad guys.

Holy Shit quite possibly the best news I have heard all week.

This is what's stopping me from double dipping. As much as I enjoyed it, I don't like the idea of having to do all of that again. I just don't have the time. Will just buy all of the DLC when my backlog has been knocked down a bit.

So bloodbourne on pc someday?

No. It's a first party title.

Even with 6GB, you are stuck in choosing between two modes: one 60 FPS mode and the other 4K mode almost like on PS4 Pro. I don't see why someone who played this on PS4 Pro woudl need to get this on PC especially if he doesn't have a PC with such settings and needs to invest much more to play this.
Eh, not really. PC port will easily handle 4K 60fps. KT just has terrible PR

It's only a matter of time now, specially after their recent statement on emulation.
PS and Xbox xonsoles are becoming obsolete if you don't care about the majority of their first party output.
I mean by that reasoning why would you want a Nintendo console either?

It's a good game and it doesn't matter what platform it goes to, that's why you brought it on PS4.

Yeah but I prefer PC and figured Sony had funded this like bloodborne given the promotion. I would prefer to play on PC in 4k with modded unlocked frame rate or hell to play it with Oculus rift.

"The PC version will include two visual presentation modes: Action Mode, which aims for a stable 60 fps frame rate, and Movie Mode, a "cinematic" option with a 4K display resolution. Koei Tecmo's note to press suggests you can't deviate from either of these two modes, no matter how powerful your PC."

So it seems it's a direct console port with no extra graphical options. You have to choose between 4k and 60 but not both? Uh.....well um....I will be skipping this.

oh. Will wait until 75% off then :\

I certainly don't regret buying the PS4 version since I love the game, and 100% it at the time, but I do feel silly buying the season pass and not even playing that content yet. :)

In for complete edition, going to have to sell off my base edition! (does PS4 get complete edition? Its got to right?) With that being said....coming to PC is a HUGE surprise for me, i didn't think it would happen EVER.

But thinking about it, i guess its logical considering there is no real known contract between KT and Sony on that game for exclusivity, and i'm sure there are plenty of PC players who would try it out.
