Dismantle two Legendary Mods and create a weapon mod. Rinse and repeat.
They can also drop from buying the random blue mods or through Gunsmith reputation gains (engrams).

Yes. Trade in two legendary weapon mods and hope that it drops. I traded in eight before it finally dropped so the rate is probably 1 in 4 random rolls.

Dude we are at work!!! Missing work for Destiny 2 was cool the first week but now it would mean I have a problem. Instead I just sleep an average of 4 hours a night and I feel like the walking dead.

Check the Io vendor from time to time as he sells the Man o' War fusion rifle for 10 LS. I'm not sure what the range of PL is (it might be fixed) but it could be what you need. I bought 3 from him the other night at 305 PL.

What I did last time, is save up enough mod components that you can buy 10 or so at once. I did this, only had 14 components, and got 3 kinetics out of the seven. Before this, I would buy them individually and always got void, solar, or arc. I think it will always start with the ability mods first so doing a bunch at a time will net the 25% chance more often. This could be total B.S. too, but that is what I will be doing from now on...

If bitching about being Forever 29 or shotgun meta is player toxicity, i dont know what we can talk about anymore.
All they had to do was go back to the week one design of raids where every encounter dropped lvl 30 gear. But nope, they added shards to the loot table which made things even worse.
They could have just nerfed the range on the shotguns but instead they went ahead and added range perks that rerolls that made shotguns even more OP. Then instead of fixing that they removed them altogether and turned Destiny into an average 2 weapon shooter.
Their idea of pleasing everyone by handing them four free powerful engrams every week for just joining a clan, 3 easy powerful engrams for just playing 5 crucible games and 5 heroic events is weird because no one wanted to be handed stuff. We just asked for more high level activities every week. When i do a difficult raid encounter, i dont want shards or tokens. Thats all we asked for, right? We, the toxic community of gaf that drove Bungie devs away.
I played BF1 for like 9 months with a two month gap in the middle. They had OP weapons that they nerfed within weeks. Maybe 2-3 max. They took their time fixing grenade spam and other issues with the modes, but they were very quick about nerfing anything OP. Bungie took months to do something about shotgun spam and then made things worse. of course, there will be some angry players.

I have to admit that the idea of the free Clan rewards has killed my drive and desire to complete this particular raid multiple times which I just so happen to despise.
I thought giving out 10 PL Raid/Trials rewards was generous and controversial enough but 300 PL? That's insane and, well, dumb. But it really doesn't matter in my case as I get duplicates whether they were earned or not.

I don't get this logic. The end game is there. I'm playing it. It's the Raid and Trials and events like Iron Banner, just as it was in Destiny 1.
Just because you don't have to grind for God rolls and such doesn't mean they "ripped out the end game."

Are the subclass items an actual drop you have to pick up or do you randomly get it after/during Public Events?

I only ever get Trials weapons at 10PL from clan rewards. Sometimes I get one engram a week that tends to give me regular gear (armor or weapons) at higher light but that's it. Never got anything Raid specific.

This makes sense if you transferred your highest level weapons over to your second and third characters. They will end up shooting past your first character through powerful engrams since the weapons will be higher than they were when your first character claimed them.

All Raid/Trials Clan rewards will be 300 PL from now on.
This really hasn't played a role in my character progression. I've just been unlucky in getting a 300 PL class item for my Hunter to drop.
That was fixed in the latest patch.

Just discovered the joy of the Crown Splitter. Not sure why I shelved this sword before, but having what is basically a titan smash on tap whenever I want it is fantastic fun for public events.

Man O' War fusion rifle dropping at 305 at vendor on Io. 7 minutes left. It says it's a Solar 300 PL but when you buy it it's a Void 305 PL (already has +5 mod attached).

Every character I have has a different color scheme, however I don't want weapons to break that color scheme so I want to apply shaders to them so they match, however since like everyone else I share weapons across all characters they don't all match. I need to solve this problem since Fashion is the real Destiny 2 endgame.
My options are:

- Color every character with the same color scheme. Unacceptable, this isn't even an option, just here for completeness' sake.
- Color weapons with a "neutral" shader that matches all the characters. Real tough but I guess it could be possible. Not optimal though.
- Have 3 of every weapon I favor and color them all a different color based on the character. Very grindy for a complete loadout, and very mod intensive (especially for kinetic mods) but it would give me a Max Fashion option for every character, as well as giving me different elements of all energy/power weapons I use frequently. It would limit my loadout variety though.
Are there any other options I'm missing? Does anyone else have this problem?

It means if you need fusion rifle infusion fodder or you want the Man O' War fusion rifle the Io Vendor is currently selling it for 10 Legendary Shards as a Void 305 PL. You need to already be at 300 PL without mods or 305 PL with mods.

If youre 305 you can buy it at 305 for 30min sometimes

You have to be 305 to get it? Thats a shame. Didnt know this was a thing though until now.
Still at 298
and the Man o War was still at 289 for me.
