Cheap Arse Gaffer |Europe| With Or Without EU

Deus Ex: Mankind Divided is now £4.99 on PS4 and XB1 at Argos. I think that's the lowest it's ever been so far.

It's a bummer this game seemed to bomb super hard, I got the PC version on launch day and thoroughly enjoyed it (although Human Revolution is better in some ways imo). Damn you, Square Enix...

I'm still looking for The Last of Us Remastered on physical PS4.

It's £22.50 on Coolshop. Is this the UK version and is it reliable?

It's £18.99 on 365 Games but it's the NTSC version. Has anyone ordered from here and will it play on a UK PS4?

It sucks because it's £15.99 for the digital version at the moment on PSN but want to get the physical if possible.

Ps4 games are region free. It goes for less than $10 when its on sale on US PSN.

It's crazy that after 11 years of region free Sony consoles this question still exists.

I only got a PS4 recently so just wanted to double check. I had a PS3 very early on but didn't use it much and gave it to my brother when I went to university and ended up with a 360 instead. Then I started gaming on PC and have been playing PC games exclusively for years. This is why I want The Last of Us. There's a lot of great Playstation games I need to catch up on.

Don't you need to create a US account to download games from the US store? Can I play these on my existing account?

For digital games you still need an account for that country to buy from that store. But you can play on any account, just like on PS3. Same on Switch now too, btw (there's even a fiddly option where you can change your main accounts country instead of making new ones but that falls under "know what you're doing".

Xbox is the only platform (aside from PC storefronts) with universal licenses without the need for country-specific accounts.

Yes you need to make as seperate account, but if you activate it as the primary ps4 you'll be able to play all games purchased on that account on any other playstation account. However, microtransactions don't apply across accounts (not an issue with TLOU) and DLC is tied to Game codes which differ by region so only USA PSN DLC will work with USA Games , but this is cross account like the games.

Thanks a lot for the info, guys. That all makes sense.

If anyone has had experience with Coolshop and 365 Games I'd love to hear if they're reliable.

What happened with Enslaved?

DLC was SKU-locked, not region locked. So they had multiple SKUs across Europe ...they had a "PAL region" Limited Edition but separate standard editions, too. If you happened to buy the LE and then buy the DLC with a UK account, it wasn't compatible since the UK copy was a unique SKU. Customer support gave out replacement codes that weren't working and was all around not very helpful. Multiple people complained on their forums. I think most ended up buying the DLC again on a different store or just giving up... Complete clusterfuck.

Grainger has Mario for £39.99. They claimed in 2012 that they send games out Wednesday by first class but no idea if that is still the case. This beats GameSeek's regular price with cashback.

Anyone know if I can register a UK code for a Switch code on account for another European country, or do I need to create a UK one specifically? Would prefer to not spread out my purchases over too many accounts.

Only currency needs to match when adding funds. Game codes are universal (per region) unless there is a country-specific SKU or a game isn't released in every country (both not happening so far).

Hmm, I see, thanks. Mario Odyssey is so much cheaper on Amazon uk than on Swedish eshop i might just grab it there, realistically i wouldnt redownload anything unlesx i upgrade to whatever Switch revision. Might temporarily change region of my main account and hope that doesnt remove any downloaded titles.

You shouldn't even need to change your region. I bought MK8D from amazon.co.uk and redeemed on my Irish eShop account. Planning to do the same with Odyssey.

Has anyone who ordered Shadow of War from Gameseek received their copy yet? I knew that it would be late as they only dispatched on Monday, using second class post, but this is still taking longer than I'd hoped. I know at least that I'm not the only one still waiting.

This is from their £25 'cyclonic deal' and on balance I'd still take the lower price over release day delivery, but this is still rather frustrating.

Can't comment on SoW but I bought fifa 18 Switch on the cyclonic deals and it came on the Saturday. They said it had dispatched second class on the Wednesday so I thought that was quite good.

My copy of Pokken was dispatched on the Thursday before release, and it came on the Monday, so 3 "postal service" days for me as well.

They really ought to be dispatching earlier than the day before release, though, given that they claim still to be aiming for release day delivery.

I’ll try again: are Switch digital game codes delivered via email from Amazon UK? Mario is tempting at £42

While I've not bought a digital game for Switch specifically, from experience with games for other platforms I expect that you'll get an email notification, with the code being listed on the "Your Games and Software Library" on Amazon's site: https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/swvgdtt/your-account/manage-downloads.html

The email itself won't have the code.

Mario Odyssey is 45€ in amazon france (digital) https://www.amazon.fr/dp/B072QW952V/

I'm not sure if it works with any European account, but you can always make a French one ¯_(ツ)_/¯

Man this is tempting. I usually go physical to sell games after finishing them, but I don't feel like selling this.

I've got a physical version on pre-order for 48€. So maybe I'll just get this one on top to start playing at midnight.

Edit: Oh no I can't purchase it from Germany. ;_;

Universal.at also has it for €45 if u use a €15 coupon and have it delivered to a pickup station. But I think they only deliver to Austria.

Use a random French address.

Use a random French address.

I did. Then Amazon.FR reset my account and cancelled my orders. It took something like half an hour to get the password reset to work. Now I've pre-ordered it though.

Was thinking about cancelling again, subscribing to 30 free days of Prime to save another 2€, but I'm not going through this again. 45€ are fine for me.

If you want I can help. Paypal me the money and ill get you the code. I am french and been helping a few gaf with french games and consoles. Even sent last week 3 Snes minis to US. I am a Amazon Prime member so helps with the final cost.

Edit it seems you already got it. If by any chance in the future you need help with a FR product. Poke me.

That's so nice of you. 🤗
I've already pre-ordered it now but if something happens and that falls through, I'll come back to you. I'd rather pay with PayPal than a friend's credit card anyway.

Getting Mario at midnight is just too tempting.

Pre-ordered using a French address. It's ridiculous that these restrictions exists for the digital purchase when you can buy the physical game almost for the same price on amazon.co.uk without any restriction.

Does that mean I can use a random French address to get and use the digital code without problems?

I did that and the pre-order went in. The code should work for the same currency accounts on Switch (euro in my case). But the 100% confirmation of that will be on 27th.
