While I'm at this I'll share one of my bans. It was in a thread about how Indian women wearing makeup somehow makes them racist.
I wonder if they would've banned you if you said the same thing about Muslim women choosing what clothes they wear.

I got permabanned a few months ago. I would have come here but it still seemed dead at the time. They put that tag on there after they found out that I made another account, so one day I got perma'd again out of the blue.
I reported two members for inciting violence and endosing rioting so that probably put a target on my back since the new radical ideology there is "fuck civility". Those members didn't even get warned of course. People must have been mashing the report button on my posts anytime I stated a resonable opinion or idea.
I feel like alot of the non-extremist members there feel like they have to virue signal when they want to state an opinion so they don't get reported. That was my "mistake" anyways.

It means they don't believe you're sincere. But the fact is that I was being sincere. Instead of letting me defend my stance, I was outed immediately.
It's another culture over there in India. It's not up to the English speaking west to decide what customs their culture should participate in. It's a stance you'd think most would find reasonable.

Christ...I wonder how many of them have even been to India. This was a worldwide skin preference based on social status that some countries have still yet to move on from. Even in western culture fair skin was desirable...then it gradually changed as having a tan signified that you were wealthy enough to vacation in hot weather places.
I spent a month in India. One of the friends I made was a Portuguese girl. She bought suncream that had skin whitening ingredients in it by accident...result...she looked pale white for about 6 weeks LOL. I met her later on that year in Portugual and she looked so different(olive skin tan).
EDIT: Correct me I am not entirely accurate anyone, if you really know what you're talking about. Don't correct me if you are just trying to get into some contest.

You're right. The fair skin preference was common to many countries before the colonial era, so it's not like it can be blamed on the evil whitey like all of the world's other ills. It was because darker skin was tied to the working class who spent most of the day outdoors. Although these cultural ideals still persist in many Asian countries, it's definitely not the case in Western countries, where tanned skin is revered. That's not so much a call for violence as it is advice to not be afraid to defend yourself. He even says don't use it unless it's absolutely necessary.

Sounds to me in a fairly ran election the majority of the country felt he was the best option. That is how democracy works.
Now, if he tries to actually seize power that is a different story. Remember, while he may actually be a poor person, that many of the same things have been stated about Trump also with similar comments out of context.
Think we should see what he actually does as president. Being anti-lgbt is something most of Brazil I think is as a nation.

If you attack me and I break your arm, I'm pretty sure it is violence, but violence used for defense. It is a behaviour, involving physical force and my intention is to hurt you (in defense). It is violence, but justified violence.

Your intention is not to harm someone. Your intention is to protect yourself. You don't want to hurt or harm that person. You want to prevent harm to yourself. And in the aim of that sometimes you have to harm somewhat but that is not violence because it was not the intent. No one (usually) tries to go out of there way to kill someone purposely in defense. If they do, they usually are charged with a crime in many courts of law for a violent crime. Justifiable response in defense is a mainstay in many areas.
He is not talking about people trying to defend themselves from being mugged or assaulted. He is talking about resorting to violence to protect your beliefs.

It is not your end goal to inflict harm, but for a certain measure of self defense, causing harm may still be your intention. So if someone grapples and punches you, for you to break his arm may be the intention of your behaviour, though the overall aim of your series of behaviours is to get away from the physical conflict with the lowest amount of harm caused to you possible.
I think this is not very clear from the posting. He could be referencing necessary defense when the atmosphere and lawmaking surrounding a(n allegedly, I haven't looked into his policies personally) fascist leader leads to physical threats for yourself or your loved ones.
Even if it is plural it includes me when you are talking to me. And who is "liberals"? You can't just group everyone of remotely similar political believes into one group and complain about behaviour of single persons within that group twoards the full group.
