Best Laptop in the $700 Range?

I know $700 isn't a ton of money, but I am selling my iPad Pro and looking to get a laptop instead since I make graphics and write a lot on a daily basis. Do you guys have any suggestions for me? They would be highly appreciated! Thanks.

Then your gonna pay a lot more. Thinkpads have amazing keyboards that literally shit on everybody. Perhaps a thinkpad without tablet functionality would be a compromise as that will lower the price.

Ssshhhh.... You aren't supposed to remember that. And no, I haven't. I ended up getting an iPad Pro and Brydge Keyboard instead. :pie_thinking:

Do you spent as much on that as the laptop. Isn't that supposed to replace laptops?

Why not just get one nice laptop. Seems like you compromised and should have just spent the $1000 on a nice ultra book

HP's Envy x360 are outstanding among 2:1-s.
The ones with 3xxx series Ryzen APUs are also very modestly priced.

15" costs less than 13".

Sorry for the trouble, guys. I think I'm just going to keep my iPad Pro. I was going to lose a couple hundred by selling it anyways and I had over $1000 invested into it. My bad for wasting your time with this thread.

You could get a used Alienware for that price, but don't kid yourself OP you lose gaming capabilities by getting that Apple product.

Who are you kidding, next month you'll start another thread exactly the same as this like you have the past 3 times. :messenger_winking_tongue:

Would say a MacBook Air be better than my iPad Pro with Brydge Keyboard? Or would I be wasting my time and money?

Amazon has the older model for $700: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07211W6X2/?tag=neogaf0e-20

Would that be good? Or would it be better to get the New MacBook Air? Or even a renewed version? I am a snob about used products and have to have everything brand new, but what are your experiences with Amazon's renewed laptops?

And I know. I fucking suck for starting this back up again. Lol.

I could sell my iPad Pro and since Christmas is coming up, I could definitely try to use that to my advantage to score a sweet New MacBook Air. But is it better?

what are you trying to do?

I say you are so scattered you shouldn't spend new laptop money. Why don't you want a pro iPad anymore?

but if you need new get a Pinebook Pro $200 done. just need to learn a bit of linux.

I guess I want something I can do my graphics and writing on. I can write on my iPad Pro with the Brydge Keyboard, but it's stilll not a laptop replacement.

If not a MacBook, what laptops would you guys recommend in the $1000 range? At least then I am not being so cheap. Lol.

Didn't you make like 3 other threads asking the same question this past year?

If you can never make a decision, you should just stick with your ipad

Well, guys... I have my iPad Pro on eBay and I'm once again looking for a laptop. Considering a few. I was thinking about the cheapest 13 inch MacBook Pro. I'm a sucker for really bright, vibrant screens. I was also looking at the Acer Swift 5 and the Dell XPS 13. Please help a guy out here. I am willing to spend up to $1,300-$1,400 for a laptop this time around, so my budget has increased significantly. Should make the recs a lot easier.

well 700 USD is lot of money but if you will consider the best in that range than choose the refurbnished or buy products from online reselling products from other people in your town . because in shop you may find overprices series .
