The last one reminds me of Akira.
The first 2 remind me of Uncharted.

I always thought they should name themselves the COGalition instead, since they are essentially a Gears dev house now......

Don't know what Murray is so defensive about.....The problem is, just recently, when anyone left a studio for the Initiative, people made new threads about it, trying to imply an issue at these studios and that things were better at the Initiative, (sinking ships and all that), hence why everybody was leaving for that burgeoning ship......We told folk people leave studios for various reasons, hell for better pay and opportunities, to work on something new, to be closer to their loved ones, but I guess such answers never made sense till someone left the Initiative themselves......:messenger_smirking:

Could you imagine posting something like " I woke up on the right side of the grass today" and then getting 100 messages saying you should be dead and on the wrong side of the grass.

That shit is not for me.

This reminds me of some Siren meets Silent Hill shit, very interested.
It's from his ArtStation profile. He used to work at Dice, so if you scroll down you will find many Battlefield concept arts. There are also stuffs from Wonderwoman, Ironman and God of War.
But this was posted recently and has nothing to do with any established IP. The second pic is also the cover photo of his artstation profile. So, this may have something to do with Initiative. Or he just did it on a whim.

Because she is not an employee but a recruiter to recruit devs.
It's almost like people don't understand how the software industry works
She is an employee. There are third party recruiters but companies also hire their own recruiters. Instead of pretending she wasn't one, a better defejse would be to point out that being a recruiter for a 30+ person game studio is not the same as being a top-level recruiter for company that will probably have thousands of positions (maybe even in the hundreds of thousands depending on what company it is), considering that they are big enough to give someone a VP title for recruiting.

You mean devs are spending their time on social media instead of building this AAAA game. SMH
Yeah because Cory Barlog and Hideo Kojima dont have twitter handles, then again I dont expect much from your comprehension ability. Did you not read that it was by a recruiter before the studio was a thing(it was simply called Santa Monica studio for the few weeks before E3 2018) and Darell Galgaher was the only employee.

They look gay and too political correct, its like everything they do is is an act, people like this never create art because they dont speak their mind they are social robots and therefore i dont expect anything spectacular from them.

How did I run upon such a failure of evolution here.

My biggest fear with this studio is the design by commity concept they are projecting. While this can be great from a design standpoint, it can end up being like so many other current-gen titles that offer a lot to do but very little incentive to do it

As I said before to many cooks in the kitchen. I think that obsidian, inexile and the second play ground team will be the 3 that will over time stand out over the other new teams and become pillars of Microsoft studios.

With the talent they have, I expect that they are testing and prototyping a few games at any given time. The team they have built could do some great things if given the freedom to do it while having someone reign it in to make sure certain projects stay on schedule.

Considering they still are initially staffing up their first team, I'd say Nov/Dec 2024 would be when they deliver their first game. Anyone think it can happen earlier?

Youre wrong. Thats all Im gonna say.

Do you guys not realise that these vets have had things in the works long before the public even knew about them? They just announce things much later to put the public on another timeline and keep people off their scent. NO ONE thought the Initiative would have a game up and running by now, yet, they have a game thats playable at this moment and we'll hear about it come this E3.
