Yeah, no doubt. Micro$oft likes to give money to moderators to delete very specific negative posts from gaming forums that the vast majority of people don't go on or even know exists. Anyone who says otherwise is being paid as well.
 
I got a slap on the wrist the other week for a troll post against Sony, so i'd say the Mods are pretty impartial.

I'm guessing the idea is that we don't need the threads full of fanboy tittle tattle. Which I would have to say has seen quite an increase this last couple of weeks.

I don't think the avatar helped. And to be fair, it read like a GameFaqs post more than anything and that's probably why they turfed it.
 
Normally I'd say the OP shouldn't be posting this... but what I witnessed at ResetEra.... mods completely out of control.... not just banning people, but actually calling them racist bigots on the way out... simply because those people were in disagreement with 'the forum consensus'.... really makes me leery of moderation.

I get it that forums need moderation. But healthy forums also need rock solid moderators who don't impose their own agendas on others... moderators who don't take things personally even though there might be reason to do so.

So far, I've been impressed by the moderation here. I feel like I can post my opinions here. I can't do that at ResetEra.
 
Are you sure you posted it? Did you get an official warning?

Usually from what I've seen it's just a warning post rather than full on deletion.

You should have stopped at the first post. I understand you bro, you want to know why your post has been deleted. But there are other ways to finding that out.
There's a thread on this forum where you can ask mods stuff. You could've ask your question there in a polite way. I'm pretty sure they would answer you.
But making a thread about it is not the way. Everyone will make fun of you and it makes you sound like an angry fanboy.
Just my 2 cents. I ain't got nothing against you, I think we all should get past fanboyism. I honestly can't believe that console wars exist nowadays. I understand discussion but fanboyism is just ridiculous, these are multi billion dollar companies that in reality don't care about you, only their bottom line.

Yeah, the mods are incredible here. I have huge respect for their even-handed approach and restraint.... They are also very helpful and polite.
