Halo Infinite will release on Xbox One, PC and Xbox Series X

Yeah this confirms what MS said yesterday. Use the power of the new console and don't make the current gen hold it back

That's the beauty of it. That's why the can release their games +1 a year on both generations.
Can't say that about PS5 though. PS4 would hold it back.

I imagine there will be tons of AAA cross platform products from all publishers over the next couple years before they ditch the existing install base and try to force people to upgrade.

Yeah but building a version straight up from 0 for the new gen otherwise it's no use. Sony should do the same if they're taking the same route

???

1.3TF console will hold back ~12TF console more than 1.8TF PS4 -> 9+TF PS5.

Remember that X1X is not the lowest common denominator for cross gen games, Xbox One S is - games will have to run 720p/30 on it.

Then don't play games on the one. Why is that so hard to "get"? The idea behind all of this that has all you fan girls twisting your knickers is simple. You can play the games on all these consoles but your experience will be vastly different on each. Make it next gen first, then port down.

That means that yes, the game may very well look like the rear end of a donkey and play at 17fps on a one. And that's fine. Because if you don't like it, why don't you play it where you should be playing it?

The idea is that you have the CHANCE to play it, at all. They didn't say the versions will be on par.

It's like some of you kids have never even touched a gaming pc...

Don't waste your breath lol

It was originally announced as a XB1 game, unless I'm mistaken and long after MS confirmed all of their exclusives would also be on PC. Confirmed for Scarlet a year later and... Nothing new was actually learned here. ...Okay...

Luckily MS are not enganging in anti-consumer practices and let me play their games on the hardware of my choice instead.

This was originally announced as a Xbox One title slated for 2019 release.

The PS4 is more powerful than the Xbox One though? I don't know what Microsoft said so I may be out of the loop.

Anti-consumer like forcing me to buy the latest piece of hardware to play their games.

You don't know what anti-consumerism is, exclusives make consoles what they are.

anti-Customer like no crossplay? No crossbuy? Censorship?

Neither of you realize you're in agreement with each other, but Microsoft has done plenty of anti-consumer things in the past and really the only anti-consumer thing here is Sony's censorship which I agree with.
