As each year passes I become more and more certain both that:

  1. Unfinite universes do exist, and
  2. That we are in one where most every stupid, ridiculous decision that could possibly be made, has been made.
A clown emote just lets us embrace that self awareness.

Sounds like a purely negative reaction which I thought was frowned upon. The lol works well for clown world nonsense.

Triggered is a positive reaction?

I wouldn't call it a positive one, no. But whenever new emoji ideas are discussed, the staff have made it clear that they don't want to have emojis that would strictly be used for negative purposes. The triggered emoji often works well for WTF stories you find in the clown world thread. Not exactly negativity directed at specific users, but not all that positive either.

I could see a clown enoji being used simply to react to posts you think are suitably "clown world", it's a negative judgement on a users post. Just doesn't seem like we are really in need of a new way to laugh at a post.

We need a direct way to tell someone that he's a clown

I'd like an empathy emote, either a tear emoji or a hug emoji.

Giving a "like" to a "my Dog died" type topic feels wrong.
