This is the most failed attempt at "Halo is dead" I have ever seen. You know how many people play MCC ?
Are you still using the playerbase of Halo 5(a game that came out in 2015) as a metric ? Then again I wouldnt expect much from someone who praises Fallout 76.

Halo is dead. By assuming that somewhere near 40k players play fallout 76 a day, where pc is the most played platform, and where Fallout is ranked similarly to Halo 5 on Xbox Live. It would be within the ballpark of at best 10,000 players a day. That's pretty shit.
We do know how many players play MCC on Steam. It's 30 day average of concurrent players is under 5k.
343 are hacks and Rian Johnson'd the IP.

Barely. Those lists are top heavy. The difference between being ranked 44th and 46th (or wherever they're at today) is almost trivial. Plenty of older games show their face on those lists that do not get updates.
Their supposed "best" IP being offered for free on gamespass should be ranked higher if it was actually any good.
Both Halo 5 and 343 are garbage.

Im back and forth, working at the moment. Its simple facts, every shooter outside Cod is basically DOA after releasse. Even the years of PC hype for Halo MC died 2 weeks after its release. It barely has a player base now. But its fine, you can enjoy it, but it will not change the facts. No one outside the few, care.

It has little to do with content updates. If Halo 5 had such great of a multiplayer as the few believers say, it would actually be played by its fan base on the only platform it's available for; its own platform, while free to its users on gamespass, to an install base of the size of the N64's.
And yea MCC on PC did indeed die 2 weeks after release. Just because people bought the launcher and Reach for 10$. "Look Halo is back!" Meanwhile no one actually gives a shit.

It's all time peak player count was 93,000 at release. I mean you can look this shit up. Two months later and it averages under 5k concurrent players for its last 30 days.

The MCC on Steam sold roughly 2mil copies in its first 2 days, and is still currently in the top 10 on the 'Global Top Sellers' list. How anyone can make out its dead is beyond me, are people just buying it to fill up their game collection?.

Yeah i mean i bought the whole MCC, but i'm waiting for Halo 1-3. I played Reach and finished its campaign over a couple of days, and havent touched it since. People are obviously doing the same thing
Its hilarious how haters are trying to make out PC gamrs dont care. The MCC was the no.1 most wishlisted game on Steam, unitl freaking Cyberpunk knocked it down to no.2. It has 62k user reviews, which would be huge for a brand new hyped AAA release (Your Ass Creeds, Far Crys, etc usually land in the 20k-40k user reviews after a year or two, The MCC has 62k in 3 months). The game continues to be in the Top 15, and often Top 10 on thre Global sellers list.

The 1 - 2 million number was specifically for halo reach when it released. Saying shit like "its doa" cuz its not cod is just dumb. It was posted on here when it released.
Idk exact numbers for the others but know they have a pretty hardcore following too.
Halo doing those numbers on its steam launch clearly proves there's plenty of interest in the franchise, whether or not we think 343 is a joke.

Step into 2020, please. This will be the first Halo game that will be available, and playable, on all Xbox one devices, a launch title for Series X, and on PC day 1. It will feature full cross platform play, which means the community will be much, much larger than any iteration of the past.
Cross play changes everything, not just for Halo but for gaming as a whole.
