In your opinions, could a men wear something like this without looking flamboyant or being judged harshly?

I'm so inspired by wild arms wild west style of clothing

is it worked or feels wrong to you?

When I go spend 3 days in the mountains in Colorado to go near hunting I wear one. They are nice. I don't wear them for fashion though. I'd probably look like a wanna be hippie douche to most people sitting in a restaurant with a poncho. Not that I care what others think but it isn't practical in my everyday life.

Why would want to wear one when it's hot?
Looking like a tool or a fool, take your pick. Not everyone looks cool in all kinds of clothing you have to have the look and if your anything in height like the average asian ( around 170cm or 5 foot 6 inches ) a poncho would look like a ladies dress.
No modern men don't wear them for fashion.

Around here, we call them "drug rugs."
There's a bit of variety regarding what qualifies as a 'drug rug,' but those pictures in the OP would certainly qualify.
Some versions are similar, except stitched together along the sides, to look a bit more like a shirt; it's the same thing, though.
And yes, people definitely wear them.

I like one for walking around the house when it is chilly. Very fast to put one on to feed a baby or whatever.

But outside, not so much. A rain poncho is nice as an emergency option but you tend to get as wet and sweaty under one as you would not wearing it at all. Makes a nice fast tarp shelter though!

In old times it was used to keep the body warm. Mostly used by outdoor rugged workers.
Nowadays, it really serves no purpose.
